Apps that WON'T work on Leopard

Strange that some people are reporting that parallels, cisco vpn and google earth doesnt work?
I performed an upgrade and all of these are working straight away, maybe I was been a bit optimistic as I use the xp part for work connectivity!
 
Filemaker have posted that a free Leopard update will be out on Nov 19th for FMP and FMP Adv. Though not for server.
 
One Finger Snap.

My PowerBook started to make a hideous noise after upgrade and it took a while to realise that it started each time One Finger Snap was invoked and only disappeared when OFS was disabled.

Bounces in the dock but won't load.
 
Out of curiosity, is Transmission behaving quirky for anyone else?

Unless I pause my transfers, it doesn't want to quit. It also seems to behave strangely when opening torrents (almost stalls).
 
OK, I've corrected the Transmission thing and updated the list. thanks for the contributions!
 
Perian, the Swiss-army knife of video codec plugins doesn't work, but the developers are working on a fix.
 
I don't wanted to start a new thread and I think my issue is related to the topic.

Leopard + Front Row + AirTunes = doesn't work :(

Hope :apple: will fix this
 
Mercury doesn't work transparently in Leopard, if you have a transparent contact list it will not start and you have to edit the GlobalSettings.xml file to set transparency back to 100%.

It also doesn't work with spaces, it likes to be in all of them, not assigned to just one.
 
Don't know if it's appropriate here, but will iLife 05 continue working after I upgrade?

odd, it works fine for me. It would be nice it it gets a little bit faster because previewing and playing movies from the finder seems slow on some formats.
 
Any news about Nikon softwares ??

Does anybody has experience with one of the following :

Nikon Capture NX
Nikon View NX
Nikon Camera Control pro

Do any of them work OK in Leopard. If not, I will have to adapt my workflow:rolleyes:.

Sharepoints has actually been made redundant by the new file sharing options.
You can add individual shares (including external disks), change access levels, and also set them to work with SMB straight away too.

It doesn't do SMB allocation at a folder level though, it's all shares through AFP, FTP, SMB or any combination of the three.
 
Ventrilo for mac

Ventrilo doesn't work in leopard.

I have installed it on a boot camp partition running VMware. It works in xp but make sure you do not assign a push to talk hotkey.

Have it set to just start transmitting automatically - sensitivity 10. Silence time 1.0 seconds.

Window Shade doesnt work on Leopard
Shapeshifter same

Xee - program for viewing zipped and rared files doesnt work either

also i noticed that icons show a incompatible sign on them although they load.
