April 20th-22nd Shipping Thread

i ordered 3 hours after you. what model? seems like (from the main shipping thread) that 32s and 64s are shipping WAY earlier than 16s (16 days versus 10 days).

I ordered 64gb black AT&T Mar 16 2011 4:32pm PDT
Ships Apr 20
Delivers April 23.

Based on the 15th orders that started shipping Yesterday, ours should ship ... dare I say TOMORROW?!?:eek::D
 
OK SO I JUST got OFF THE ONLINE CHAT WITH A YOUNG MAN FROM APPLE , He STATED that we all have a 2-3 week wait but i'm sure since we been waiting since March :rolleyes:
 
I ordered on 3/15 about 11am EST (was supposed to be delivered on 4/22). I figured that my ipad shipped on Saturday since Apple charged my card. I was correct. Got the official shipping notice this morning. Its set to be delivered by 4:30pm on April 7th (Thursday).
 
I had ordered on the 17th (64GB, Black, AT&T 3G), also had a ship date of April 21st.

As of last night, I finally found the exact one I wanted in store at Wal-Mart (the only iPad 2 they had) and picked it up. So I cancelled my order late last night/early this morning. So that is one less clogging up that round of shipping for you guys (or someone gets bumped up to my spot hopefully). :D

It's obvious that he did not know what he was talking about. Let's not create unneeded drama about all of this stuff!

Common sense tells us that those who ordered March 16-17 will most likely see movement on their orders within the next 7 days. Do you really believe that Apple would fill orders placed through the 15th and then just take a few weeks off before shipping those placed on the 16th?

Everyone just needs to relax and not stress about it! Get excited instead!
 
i could be that my order was cancelled? or just an error from the apple order status page? coz now it says " We could not locate an order with the information you have entered below, please try again. ". :\

It seems like the ones getting a bump in shipping times are the 32 gb and 64 gb but the 16gb units aren't getting bumped much. That's probably because of the popularity of the 16gb units. I'm starting to think that my 16gb white ipad2 really isn't going to ship till the 21st

I'm beginning to think this myself. My order for a White WiFi 16GB placed on 3/17 is still stuck on 4/21 ship and 4/26 delivery dates.

I just called Apple CS and the rep said ones with 4/19 ship dates are actually already going out the door. I asked is there an issue with the particular model I ordered and she said she hasn't heard of any supply issues affecting one model more than others, so she doesn't think so. She indicated that mine would likely actually ship by early next week if not this week (no promise of course).

But I am seeing a pattern of no White WiFi 16GBs being shipped of late based on the comments here. If anyone with this config can verify that there's has been shipped earlier than planned, that would be great to know.
 
i have order the same model, the 03/18 and i have 21 - 26 april day

And yes, it was an error from apple status order page
 
I ordered March 15, order status just changed to "Prepared for Shipment".
Dates of April 19 ship date and April 22 delivery did not change. An earlier post said Apple Employee told him dates won't change.

I checked this morning and it still said "Not Yet Shipped".

I ordered the 32GB White Wifi Only engraved for my wife :) Tomorrow would be sweet since my wife's birthday is the 10th.
 
I ordered March 17th and checked last night and still shows 4/21 shipping. I previously called Apple and they said that the orders would be sent in the order received. Since it seems like those who ordered 3/15 are getting notices, I expect some change by the weekend. Any other 3/17 orders change on the website?
 
i ordered the morning of march 19th, 64 wifi black, and i still got nothing. I really hope it gets here before easter break... i'd love to take a new ipad home with me...

also, current shipping estimate is the 21st for delivery on the 26th.

Neat, I called about my order (White 32GB Wifi placed on 3/17) and while they couldn't say if it would ship earlier, they did upgrade me to 2 day shipping which bumped the delivery date back a few days. Ship date stayed the same.

Original ship 4/20 with delivery on 4/26, now delivery is on 4/22.

So if it does indeed ship earlier, it would be delivered even sooner now. Fun. =)

I ordered on March 16th a White 32GB WiFi and just now today got the prepared for shipment notice :D
 
From what I can tell the most constrained are the 16GB models, and particularly the 3G ones with AT&T black being the most popular.
I have a co-worker who ordered a 16GB wifi on March 13 - they just received it today.
 
Mine shipped on April 3rd and it is still not here yet...

I ordered in on 3/14/2011. No way any of you would get before me...

Give me a break. It takes like 5-6 business days to just come from Shenzen.
 
I posted on the other thread, but incase someone is following here and not there. My 32g wifi white, ordered on the 16th at 4:20pPDT was prepared for shipment this morning! :)

don't be that pissy. it takes up to 3 days to get off of iPad island but then it goes direct to Anchorage, Chicago, or Memphis depending upon flights and destination, and from there it's on a plane to the closest fedex airport within 24 hours after clearing customs. you should have it by this weekend. Everyone's seeing a lag in the beginning on iPad island but then it's a lot faster.
