April 20th-22nd Shipping Thread

I ordered a white ipad 2 on April 2nd. 16 gb wifi.

Ships - April 25th
delivers - April 26th

Hopefully it gets shipped sooner!
 
Finally got my "Prepared for Shipment" status change this morning. Can't wait!

Got shipping notice. Apple now says delivery is 4/15, Fedex says 4/14. Either way is fantastic!
 
Just got my iPad today! First post from it too! Got it about 14 days sooner than the estimated delivery date on the apple page. :)

That's awesome. I feel like a ditz now. I originally ordered a 16gb wifi black the same day and close to same time as you. I cancelled it and reordered it five days later. Hopefully in five days I'll get the "prepared for shipment" status update.
 
Would anyone who's iPad has ACTUALLY been shipped or delivered be so kind to share how long it took to go from Prepared For Shipping until you received your Tracking Email from Apple and/or "Shipped" status on your apple account?
Im trying VERY hard to be patient here.. but im like a little kid near Christmas!! (or Hanukkah, etc etc)

My order went Prepared for Shipment earlier on today and im just curious what the avg time is before it goes for a plane ride!

Went to bed April 6th: Not Yet Shipped
Woke up April 7th: Prepared for Shipment
Shipping Notification Email received: April 9th at 1:17 am

So mine stayed "prepared for shipment" for around 48 hours. Mine was also engraved (incase that had anything to do with it).

I was "Not Yet Shipped" when I checked about 3 or 4 pm (CDT) today. I just checked now (9 pm CDT), and it's Prepared for Shipment. So yeah, it looks like they're behind, but only by a few days.
 
yup, same time period of ordering and expected delivery as you guys, but its coming this thursday!=)

I hoping I get it for the convention I'm leaving for on April 21.
I called apple a few days ago and they said they can't do anything about the shipping time because I wanted it to be bump up. They way things are going for everyone else Hopefully it ships late this week early next week.

Must be very rare, people ordering different configurations after my order are being shipped and received. Not even a pre-authorization on the credit card.
 
Got my first notification on April 9 that my 64G 3g ATT was shipped. This morning I checked and the Fedex site said it was on the truck for delivery today!! 2 days before the anticipated date which was 4/14/!!!! Ordered 3/17.

Can't wait.

Recent posts from the last couple pages of this thread suggest that many non-3G (WiFi-only) orders from March 17-18-19-20-21-22 have advanced to Prepared or are on their way, while many 3G orders from that time frame are lagging behind.

Er, like my white 16G AT&T, ordered the morning of March 19, and still at Not yet shipped. :confused::(:(

I whipped up some scripts and cron jobs that will check my order status every five minutes and send me a text message when my status changes to Prepared... :D:D:D

I was "Not Yet Shipped" yesterday when I checked at 3 or 4 pm (CDT)
I checked at 9pm (CDT) last evening, and it was Prepared for Shipment
I received my Shipping Notification at about 3:30 pm CDT today.

It is now due to arrive on April 19th.
