I'm failing to see how this is better than the grandfathered plan? I'm so tired of AT&T. If they don't get it right by the next iPhone I'm out.
So is the 22gb per line or total for all lines on the plan? Also, is the tethering only for the more expensive plan or both plans? I'm too tired right now to think about these things.
It's per line. They can slow you down in congested areas. I live in a smaller city and use around 350gb a month over 6 devices and have yet to see any slowing.
Tethering is only available on the more expensive plan, 10 gb a month per device then slowed down speeds after the 10gb are exhausted.
I have an iPad Pro on the current unlimited/Directv plan. It lets me hotspot it, anyone else able to do this with unlimited?
Wow, is it just me or that's not really a deal at all.
Actually, the US is ever so slightly smaller than the EU (9.8 million square km vs 10.2 million square km). The amount of people living there is also larger (300 million vs 500 million) and because every country has its own providers, you would expect rates to be higher. Instead, you can get rates of about 1/3 that of the US that include unlimited data over the entire EU without roaming chargers.
Thanks. One more question - is 3Mbps good or bad?
With voice over LTE enabled on your Verizon phone, data and voice are used simultaneously. The only problem is that if you cross out of an LTE area on Verizon while on the phone, your call will drop, while AT&T can hand off to their standard voice network without interruption.at&t SUCKS. but they offer one important thing that verizon does not: you can be on the phone AND the internet at the same time on the LTE network.
It's a great question - I would LOVE to switch to verizon - at&t SUCKS. but they offer one important thing that verizon does not: you can be on the phone AND the internet at the same time on the LTE network. this is critical for my business. I think t-mobile offers this as well but they don't have near the network that at&t does.
then there's multi call functions, which are significantly better on at&t are significantly better than verizon. for instance: if i create a conference call between myself and 6 other people on at&t I can individually add and remove certain people. on verizon, once someone is in.. they are in and the only way to remove one person is to remake the entire call.
Also - mobile data is critical in my line of work. So I have both an iphone on at&t and an ipad on verizon. This way no matter where i am i have some kind of internet... if one has no signal the other usually has something. it's rare that both don't work. so if at&t has no signal, i can hop on the verizon hot spot and then enable wifi calling and my phone is back up and running.
when verizon introduces a phone that allows being on the phone AND the internet at the same time (without needing wifi) as well as better support for the iphone's multi call features, i'll switch. in the mean time i'm stuck paying too much for less service at a crappy company
What about T-Mobile 2-phone all in for $100/mo?I'm actually paying a lot more than this for 3 lines.
If this is what it seems I'm dropping my grandfathered plans asap.

It's true. We find it really hard to believe how expensive prices are in the US. Hotels even charge you to use their wifi whereas in Europe it's mostly free even in small places.
Posts from AT&T employees in the AT&T sub on Reddit indicate that like Verizon's plan, only military/veteran discounts will apply.I'll be sure to confirm although I'd assume corporate discounts can still be applied.
Wonder how long that business plan can sustain itself as more users require the company to lease, lease, lease more BW.

If coverage is fine, this is a horrible deal, especially for the 3Mbps plan. After taxes, it makes far more sense to get T-Mobile's $70 all-in plan.
MetroPCS has been at those plans for years and are doing quite well as per T-Mobile financial results.
3Mbps is totally usuable for everything but HD video.
3mbps is basically 3G speeds. On LTE I routinely get aboutSo right now I am still on the old unlimited plan. Thinking of switching to the cheaper unlimited choice plan. Does anyone know if the LTE speeds are slower?

Yeah I'm trying to figure out if that is slower than my unlimited grandfather plan is. I'm assuming it is and not worth switching even if it is cheaper.

I'm in the same boat. Currently I receive %23 off my unlimited at&t bill.

Same here, I pay $22 /month on a UK contract, I'm working in the Netherlands and being charged not a penny more for my calls and data
My plan also works all over the US
These prices are crazy. more crazy people pay it!
From what I gathered in redditBye-bye T-mobileI like the plan. 5 dollars more expensive than VZW. I don't want to stay with T-mobile or VZW congested networks in my area. I like that it is truly unlimited Canada, not chunky 500 mB.
I had old Att UDPs 4 lines and switched after the price increase and expensive Canada/Mexico roaming.
I just have just two question:
1. still have promo 35 dollars DirectTVNow, are they going to drop the price to 10 dollars or not?
2. On what amout can I have FAN discount?
3. Can I use BoGo on iphones 7 ?
P.S. No more Philippines call center. I cannot believe it.
