Looks like the tower I use while at work in Metro Detroit is fixed! Wasn't working Friday, but got 1600kbps down/ 1600kbps up this morning. Not HSUPA( I got 4500kbps down/2000kbps up in Walled Lake Saturday), but WAY better than the 190kbps I got last week!

Seattle; still stuck in the the single far right lane with numerous construction crews and traffic accidents.

Quick question ... what should an acceptable download speed and upload speed be?

Obviously people will get varying results but what is an accepted DL and UL speed for 3G with AT&T?

If you have an iP4, then you should expect DL speeds above 1 meg, and UL speeds above 500k.

Usually it's much better than this. I recently had a DL speed of 4.7 meg and an upload speed of 1.5, but usually it's around 3/1.5.

Columbus OH and still getting crappy numbers.
224/51 kbps

Tried resetting network settings, rebooting, etc. Any ideas?

Smash it lol this thought has crossed my mind multiple times :D
My concern is people are paying more attention to the signal loss BS and not paying attention to a problem as big as the one we are having with data.

Be patient (yes, hard I know) and wait for the network issue to be fixed... on the network.

If the fix (whatever it might be) was successful in the Detroit area, I'd expect AT&T to roll that fix out to other markets in the maintenance windows over the next few nights.

It's a common practice to try the fix in one market first and really make sure the fix, uhhh, fixes the problem before propagating it to other markets.

In Seattle on July 12, 2010 @8.15pm, upstream still capped at < 95kbps.

come on AT&T, I need a free 3G microcell.

My speeds are even worse now with full bars

I feel awful still having to post in this thread. It's been 2 weeks already and still capped
