If you have a low MRC rate plan, you have to wait at least 12 months to be eligible for a reduced subsidy ( Early Upgrade ). Did you purchase last July?

As a valued customer, we can offer you an upgrade with a new 2-yr commitment and waive the $18 upgrade fee. I knew i was do for a upgrade but without the $18 upgrade fee.....Bring it on cant wait untill the 21st..

I'll pay an 18 dollar fee if it means I can get iPhone 4 now.

Just checked and mine changed as well. I'm not even getting the message at the top that says that on XX/XX/XXXX i'll be upgrade eligible. I can see the full subsidized price of $299 for a new 32G 3GS. Originally my full subsidy date was 6/20/2010

My contact ends on 7/22/10.

I am hoping that I can purchase the new iphone without having to agree to another 2 year contract.

Don't mind paying the 599 price to be free of the contract

I don't understand this, makes no sense financially. It's not like you save any money. In fact, you spend more in the end.

Mine changed from today to yesterday.

Today it says:

"As a valued AT&T customer, we can offer you a discounted iPhone upgrade with a new 2-year commitment and an $18 upgrade fee."

Yesterday it said something similar but also said additional discounts would be available in november

I'm now eligible for an upgrade (as of last night) when I previously had to wait until 11/25. Ok, AT&T wins - if there's no verizon iPhone I'll tolerate them for another year.

Nice!

I'm elligible now.. wasn't 2 weeks ago. Told me to wait until like late November or December.

But now it says I just have to pay a $18 upgrade fee..

FINE BY ME! :D
