The Palm Pre or BlackBerry Storm look mighty tempting... since they don't come with AT&T.
Arrrg... Why can't AT&T just get their sh*t together? Clearly written policies posted in a publicly-available place. Anyone? But these, "Ok, now we'll let everyone upgrade" statements with secret caveats are killing their public perception. Even the mainstream press mentions AT&T's "botching" of iPhone launches. Apparently, it doesn't take much skill to be a high-paid executive these days, since AT&T's management seems to have no unified direction.
