Anyone else seeing this? My son just got his iPhone 12 Pro.

Going to Cellular > Voice & Data it offers LTE and 4G but does not offer 5G.

We have the AT&T Unlimited Plus plan. We spoke to AT&T just now and they say everything looks fine on their end.

Help.
BJ! Man, how I've missed you! I used to howl at your threads back during the 6 (or was it 6s) launch. Here's yet another launch and I hadn't seen a thing from you. Hope life hasn't become too hectic to interject some light trolling for us here. Love ya', man! :)

For those with an At&t premier/at&t business account with the new iPhone 12, do you have the 5G option? I only see LTE and 4G

I’ve been on and off the phone with customer support for hours. My plan supports 5G but I don’t have the option.

On reddit, I’ve seen a few people say to call customer support and they will provision your line for 5G. After a restart it worked.

The reps keep telling me I don’t have 5G here (even though the map says I do) so that’s why the option isn’t showing up. This is frustrating.
I do have 5g here (according to the map). I read the Reddit thread too and called at&t. Like you I had no luck. But my problem is in their system. The more people who ask for escalation the better.

It has Says 5G when you actually have it. But.... the speed increase no one will ever know. But you will notice the 2 hours of battery it takes away from you a day and that’s being on 5G all day long. Just imagine it constantly switching back and forth, looking for a signal then not. Oh man, so many people are going to be mad. 5G will have no big benefit to anyone not in a big city or stadium.
Yea we are trying to get the option even knowing that once we get our problem solved we will probably shut it off 🤣. Still at&t should fix it for us...hopefully some day 5g will be useful.

I'm sorry but this was your mistake. Go online and its very clear what plans support 5G. If you don't have one of those plans, you don't have 5G. You cannot call a company like AT&T and expect a correct answer.
Without doing anything or calling AT&T?

I had to change plan to Elite as Unlimited Plus doesn’t have 5G. After done talking to rep, I restarted the device and the option showed up.

I have the option but it just says "Cannot activate cellular network" after I did an eSIM transfers. Support useless and could not resolve. They said take it to store tomorrow for new eSIM QR and provision to new eSIM.

Really does sound like a provisioning issue. I am already in elite and don't get. I'll probably just see how it goes for the next day or so.

I have 2 iPhone 12 Pro’s and AT&T‘s new elite plans which were switched a week ago. Neither of the phones have the cellular data options for 5G. Been 6 hours Since the phones were setup. Tried reboots too.

We’ve been waiting for stuff all week! 😂 I’m tired of waiting!

Jk, yeah I guess we don’t have an option haha.
Tired of waiting for this. Hoping it shows up soon. Seriously! why everything requiring a wait.

I still don’t see 5G

right, just cause we cant really get the real benefits of it and won’t use it. We want to know it’s still there. Lol

Also having this issue. Had an ESIM on iPhone 11 Pro. Decided to go back to physical so got that from AT&T today and swapped into my new iPhone 12 Pro, and activated the SIM via chat.

I’ve had unlimited elite for 3+ months now. I was told my line was provisioned for 5G. But no 5G or options showing up in the settings.

my T-Mobile sim works fine in this phone for 5G.

I spent two hours combined between chat and phone, nobody can figure out what it is. I agree with others that this is infuriating.
