**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Finally on phone through premier line. Will try to get as much info as possible. I don't need a maybe on if my order will be here on the 24th, I need a yes or no so I can decide whether to cancel it and get it mid July or not before trip.
 
We are excited for both of you but it does not matter as they will not be delivered till the 24th. This is not the first time that Apple has done a big introduction with FedEx and they both know exactly what they are doing!

Just like the iPad, if you live in the city or close to it you could get delivery by 10:30am, but if in the boonies, by 4:30.
 
just got off the phone with att cs (with a surprisingly knowledgeable person) and she said even tho it said ordered on the 16th online that they actually received it on the 15th and they have already pair my iphone 4 with my account and shipping but they dont have a tracking number and she said it could be wednesday before i get my tracking number but said that i will get it on the 24th as will everybody else that ordered before 4:30pm on the 15th...so i guess it doesn't matter about the whole date being the 16th screw up thing 😀

I'm in Irving Texas and still backordered. Will try to probe info for you on what its looking like for us. 😡

I don't always ask where they work...it's not important...just the moment at hand is all that matters. 😱

Maybe I should start asking more questions from the people i sleep around with...

Alright, as everyone else Im a little confused by what all this means and cant find with the search as it goes on and on,lol.

What does this mean when checking status on ATT site:

1 Apple IPH 4 16GB BLK PHONE
In Progress
Ship Date 06/21/10
QTY ORD 1
BACK ORDER 0
null
438782******-ORDER NUMBER?

I tried to pull that order number in Fed Ex and nothing comes up.

Also checked my premier site and still says processing and not shipped yet.

Im asking the pros what the verdict is and if anyone else has had this as of yet?

Well I'm in Houston and I have 2 32GBs shipped and last name begins with "N." Ordered mine at 5:30AM CST.
 
To me it doesn't make sense: If I ordered at 4:00pm EST how are people, who ordered after me, are getting "ShIpped"?

ALL OF THE AT&T ORDERS ship out of DALLAS!!!

I ordered at about 3pm on the 15th via premier. My CC has been charged, but still no shipping updates. I'm not sure what's going on.
 
I've done a search and it might have been posted already...

But it's interesting that I have a Fedex tracking number and they have shipped according the the order status page on ATT. However the tracking number cannot be found in the Fedex system. What's up with that?

My brother's Fedex tracking number works fine (I ordered his through Apple.)

I ordered a 16GB at the AT&T store at 7:45PM Central (right before they closed) and got my tracking number today about 11:30AM Central

I'm in the Houston area

Here's how Premiere explained it in their shipping confirmation email:

If you pre-ordered the iPhone 4, it is staged for pickup by our shipping carrier. Because of unprecedented volume, it may be as much as 72 hours before the carrier can provide any detailed information to you. Please don't be concerned if you visit the carrier's site and specific information about your order is not provided. The information will be updated when the carrier picks up the order at our warehouse.

Does this possibly answer my ATT question above and that weird order number with a 4?

Please see above. Says shipping 6/21 but no shipping email, card was charged,and still says processing on premiere site.😕
