I just got of the phone with ATT CSR, Kyle, in Pennsylvania. He was very very nice.

First, my current status:

Ordered 4:27a CDT on 6/15 from ATT Premier
Premier status: Processing, last updated 6/17
Premier phone status: order is processed and will ship soon
Regular ATT status: order date of 6/16 - 1 Ordered, 1 Backordered (from day one)
Model: 32gb

Kyle said that it looks like my order is prepared to ship out on the 23rd oven though it says backordered. When I asked about why other people who ordered later were getting theirs shipped ahead of some of the earlier orders, he didn't have an answer. He talked to his manager and he also did not have an answer. He seemed confident that I would receive my phone by the 24th even though it says backordered.

I'm going to try to trust what he's said and not worry about it too much. After all, it is just a phone. One day I'll get it. Premier orderers, try to get some rest and not worry about it too much. Best of luck to you all. :)

I'm all fine and dandy even if it's Friday for all I care at this point. I'm worried it'll be Monday when it arrives and i'll be out of town. Also I'm just pissed they couldn't send a memo out to the reps explaining the system they are using or just do a mass update for everyone on Wednesday so this anarchy wouldn't be necessary.

While this would be the perfect opportunity, I'm not 15 years old, nor am I that cruel lol.:p It's legit.

it's not rickroll it's legit and i am very happy I found this video thxs so much who ever posted the link!!!!!

QUOTE=web4fun;10244921]I ordered at 9am on 6/15 via Premier site and nada yet:mad::mad:

I ordered also via ATT Premier site at 9am EDT -on 6/15---- Ordered a 32GB ---
Order starts with: 1012284********* nothing yet ....:confused::confused:

My friend order at 11:30pm on the same night with :apple:'s website and her phone is in Achorage (FEDEX) going for delivery[/QUOTE]

Absolutely makes no sense! This is why everyone told me not to order from AT&T(AlwaysTardy&Tricky)! I'm seething

I know some have been posting on here saying not to worry, its just a phone, etc... but for me, I was planning on using it for an upcoming design project. Time is crucial for this, it was going to be a follow-up to my launch day iPad video, check it out here:

FYI not trolling just to get more views to my video, just wanting any feedback etc from it; and just trying to justify my urgency/frustration with not having ANY info as to when my iPhone will arrive...

Beautiful. Wow.

I just checked AT&T's website and it said mine has shipped via UPS. I thought they were shipping via FedEX? I ordered mine late in the day on the 15th the site said ordered on the 16th and it changed from processing to shipped an hour ago.

None of us said anything about getting it early...

no but I guarantee you there will be several clowns that will be pissed and some even might call FedEx complaining to them on how their package is being held.

pay no mind that EVERYONE knows the new iPhone is not due until the 24th. but I promise you there will be lots of whiners out there b*itching on how FedEx screwed them by hold their package(s) an extra day.

you know it's gonna happen.

Seems like a ton of people just got their phones shipped via UPS in the last 5 minutes....my friend just called me and told me his did too

Finally got an email from AT&T. I take this to be good news.

Ordered about 0600 15th AT&T not premiere.

That shows you how much they know, how will you transfer the phone numbers by inserting the old sim card into the new iPhone when it uses a mini sim card???

I'm really pissed at ATT... No one has a clue there...

I don't get that my original email conformation I got right after I pre ordered said FedEX and just now when I checked the website it said UPS. Whatever as long as it shows up I don't care how it gets here.

I got a UPS confirmation in the past hour as well. Ordered 3 p.m. est on the 15th (status shows 16th, natch). Fingers crossed.

Thank God! After waiting the whole day listening to all your stories about your order status, praying, crossing my fingers, going crazy basically, I FINALLY GOT my tracking number.

I pre-ordered at 3:56pm EST at my local at&t store and my carrier is UPS (?)!

Advice to those who still haven't gotten their info: BE Patient.
