Where yours says Date Ordered: 6/15/2010, mine says 6/16 but I ordered it at 2PM CST on the 15th.. Weird.

OK so heres the deal, i wanna make this REALLY CLEAR. i ordered mine at 5am ET on Tuesday morning after several failed attempts at the apple site. i am a new customer and i went thru in less that 3 minutes. i got the confirmation immediately after. later in the day i checked to see if i could see my order and it couldnt find it and my card wasnt charged so i decided to check back in 24 hours like it said and sure enough i was charged and my ordered said it was in progress. but it ALSO said back ordered and i panicked a little bit. came back a couple hours later and then it wasnt backordered anymore. so i assumed i was good to go. THEN my boyfriend noticed it said my order date was 6/16 when we both know that wasnt true because we both ordered ours at the same time (seperately) so then i called at&t and i was told by 3 representatives (i called 3 or 4 times to make sure i got a consistant answer) and they all said that the order date on the order status DOES NOT MATTER. the thing that matters is the TIME STAMP on your order which they could see in their systems. your time stamp is when exactly you placed the order and mine was 502 am on the 15th. this is what they go by when shipping NOT THE ORDER DATE ON YOUR ORDER STATUS. so pleeeease stop worrying.the actual time is recorded and they know who ordered first and what not...okay? okay:D[/QUOTE]

I hope you are right. I had a really similar situation. Ordered at 3:45 CST, but had a security block on my card and declined the charge. Security block was lifted the next day and the charge went through. Stressing out.
 
Interestingly my order date on the premier site says 6/15 and on the ATT site it says 6/16. I hope they get this right...
 
Well I ordered my phone from the premier site as well. I preordered it on June 15th at 5:10 am CST and I recieved 2 emails which stated that they would begin fullfilling my order on the 24th. The amount for my order was also taken out of my account. When I go the the premier site to check the status of my order it has two checks one under order received and another under processing. However when I go to the AT&T wireless site to check my status it doesn't recognize the order number that I recieved on the premier site but it recognizes my cellphone number and it says backordered on it. So I think the reason some of us that ordered from the premier site are getting backordered on the wireless site is because they are 2 different databases. Does anyone who preordered from the Apple site get backordered on their status when they use the AT&T wireless site to check their status as well??

iPhone ordered from ATT.com

I placed my order June 15th, 2010 at 12:55 (noon), I was sent to a confirmation page and my credit card was charged (verified online) but I did not receive an email from ATT.com. I also can not view the order detail in the order history. After a few calls I was told that it would not show up online and an email would not be sent until the iPhone shipped.

Has anyone experienced this?

That's what mine looks like except a couple of differences. I ordered my phone at 10:00 a.m. EDT on the 15th. Through the Premier site, it has the date ordered at 6/15 (which is correct). The last update is on 6/18, although nothing on the actual status page change, so I'm not sure what actually got updated. Now on the regular order status page, the date ordered says 6/17. That's what has me a little worried. :confused:

ALL orders from 6/15 are delivering on the 24th...?

According to some people on the wireless.att.com boards, representatives over at AT&T have a printed statement that confirms ALL iPhone orders placed on June 15th will be shipped the 23rd for delivery on the 24th. If true, this would be great and welcome news to many (including myself!)

Well, what's weird though is after my 3 and a half hour long phone call yesterday, I got them to change my status from Attention! to processing, so the last update date was changed to 6/17 (which makes sense). What doesn't make sense to me is why it got changed again to 6/18 today because nothing else changed (that was visible to me anyways).

On the regular status page, it shows my stuff as backordered.

I could be wrong but I think that if you order your phone from the premier site you need to go by the premier status instead of the status on the regular attwireless site because the link that was in the email said to check your status using the premier status link, not the regular attwireless status link. I think that is how everyone is getting confused. My order number for the premier site doesn't work when I check my status on the regular site. It only works when I use my cell number. I think that perhaps the regular attwireless site receives its information about your order from the premier site. That could be why it is showing backordered on the status.....??? Seems logical to me lol

I hope so too!! lol Can you check your status using your order number from the premier site on the regular site or does it only work with ur cell #?

On the regular site, it only works with my cell and my shipping zip code, which is good because my shipping zip code is completely across the country :) I'll be traveling across the country on the 24th through the 26th for a wedding, so I'm actually shipping my phone to the hotel that I'll be staying at :eek: Pretty huge gamble! :eek:

did any get charged twice for only 1 iPhone?

i just checked my credit card and ATT just charged me 254 twice

on the side note, do the pre order numbers mean anything, i see you guys saying your pre order numbers start with with XXX or something like it matters
 
The rep from AT&T told me they were being sent out the 24th and I've also heard we'd receive them the 24th. Which is true? Does anyone have concrete knowledge yet through tracking number or something else?

Probably both. They will send a good number of them out initially on the 23rd and daily from the 24th until they fulfill there orders.
 
Now I know why my AT&T bill is so big. The money they waste on customer service for all of these people making multiple calls to ask the same thing must be huge.
 
OK, This is wierd. It still says processing for my 2 orders from AT&T, and Apple Store. The money is already deducted from my paypal debit card. The weird thing is I bought a Bumper case, and a iPhone 4 dock from Apple store, but the charge is only for 1 item, not 2. The total should have been $63.08. As you can see there is only 31.54 in charges to Apple. Does this mean I will be recieving my bumper, or my dock first. Just weird.

I also ordered the bumper and the dock. I'm guessing the bumper charge is up first since it will be shipping sooner. It's the same for me. I wouldn't be too worried. Apple is handling it, not AT&T, which is handling my phone too :/
 
Anyone else's charge fall off this morning? A hold was placed on my debit card/check card 2 days ago but it has since been credited back to me. I checked my status and it still says it is in process. Whew!!!
 
Nothing new ... same as it's looked since I first looked Tuesday afternoon. The order was place a little before 7:00 AM EDT on the 15th.

Still "In Progress", 2 "Various SIM", 1 "FREIGHT", and 2 "Apple IPH 4 32GB BLK PHONE".

Date Ordered: 06/15/10

The second time I called ATT they said, "You have nothing to worry about - you were one of the first." Sounds funny to me since there were a lot of orders before ours.
