Ok. So I tried ordering on AT&T and Apple's website for 5 hours with no luck. I would get to AT&T's last page, hit purchase and it would timeout every time. No confirmation page. I did get 4 $1 holds sent to my bank account. About 2 hours later I get an email saying my order was canceled???
Said F-this, went to the AT&T store ( 35 min. drive ). Was all good to go til they told me you have to have a Credit Card. No ifs, ands, or buts. Can't be a debit/check card or cash!!?? What a bunch of BS! How can you deny someone a purchase that has a bank card! The money comes right out the account!! And then say no TO CASH!!! F@#k AT&T!!!
Bout ready to kill someone driving back when I notice Best Buy to my right. Ok. 5 min, easy as can be, $50 deposit, #2 pre-order. Love Best Buy. Great service. End of Story.......
Not so fast. Fast Forward 2 days later. All the $1 holds are gone and I get an email form AT&T confirming my iPhone pre-order, ordered on the 16th???? My order status is the same as most of the ones on this thread. WTF? Must have been backed up, but again I never once got an order confirmation page.
So now what? Which order do I cancel? If AT&T ain't shipping til the 24th I'll just go to BB and pick it up. But then again BB said the pre-orders aren't guaranteed and I should expect a call. FML.....
