**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Order # 50513280099

I have an early order number best I can tell, that seems to correspond to my very early order. My email confirm shows 6/16 however, and was received 6/17. Still no tracking or shipping info. Just shows 1 order, 0 shipped, 0 back ordered. Blank carrier, ship date, tracking.

Anybody else with a 505xxxxxxxx order number still not get any shipment progress?
 
i'm still throwing a temper tantrum. seeing people on twitter post pictures of their iphones.. and i don't have my tracking info.. lol i'm on hold with ATT listening to their crappy 10 second song on loop. sounds like the price is right or something. =/

One AT&T rep actually said to me... "Well, when it ships you'll get the information for when it's due to arrive."

Me... "That's a little vague. Is it going to be tomorrow, this month?"

She... "As soon as you get it, you'll know."
 
Every time I see some lucky member post about a tracking # I eagerly jump over to my AT&T order status and refresh to find no change. Why oh why do you hate me so AT&T????
 
here is my update:

Ordered 15th at around 1:30 CST
Never been backordered
Still "In Progress"
Order # starts with 5051


anyone else order around the same time in the same boat?

I am a 505XXXX ordered at 5:17 on the 15th. Have a Fedex number, but not showing in the system

Yes Order #50512******
My theory is that our phones were tagged first, then placed at the bottom of the stack, so everyone who ordered later is getting their phone first. Hooray for FILO inventory systems (First In Last Out).
(Wow! I remembered something from my accounting classes...crazy!)
 
Ordered early afternoon on the 15th. AT&T showed it being ordered on the 16th and back ordered up until yesterday. Have tracking number now, showing delivery for tomorrow.

i have one too - i dont know why the trackings working for some not others...mine started showing data about noon today. but based on what i looked up, the cargo flight mine's on left dallas at 1048 and landed in indianapolis at 1145 (local times)...and all I see on fedexs site is a 1045am departure time, so it seems they're pretty behind on updating these things
 
Finally some progress on my situation (first time poster, long time listener)

2 orders for 32GB on 6/15 via Premier (11:30am and 2pm EDT)
Appeared on regular order status page 24 hrs later, both showing backordered. No progress since then. Within the last 15 minutes, both went from backordered to 0

Same here... but I ordered like 13 minutes before you. Mine JUST went from backorder 1 to 0.
 
Wahooo FINALLY my iPhone has shipped!!

Ordered 11:18AM CST 6-15, but ordered dated showed 6-16

That's almost exactly the same time I ordered ... and my order begins with 6808, too. My fingers are super crossed that mine with ship soon. :apple:

The same thing happened when I ordered my 3G two years ago. It said back ordered from the moment the order was place until it was actually on the delivery truck being delivered 3 days later. Imagine if we could get so many people to be this passionate about something that actually matters in life.

I have to respectfully disagree. First i should state I love Apple. I use a Mac, and have had an iphone since they came out. BUUUT Steve Jobs can kiss my rosy red ass. 600,000 phones. Big deal, he / Apple knew this was going to happen. They have the resources to do it right but really don't care. If I were to cancel my order they know there are a thousand people to take my place. Bottom line, love the Iphone, love the Mac, hate the way the company does business and HATE AT&T. OK, I feel better, rant over, hope STEVEJ reads this!!!;)
