There are countless possible reasons for delaying your order. And since everything is shipped overnight it is VERY possible your device ships tomorrow and is delivered Thursday.

I have had stuff shipped to my place for the 15 years I have lived here from both Fed Ex and UPS and you really can never tell when. I have had stuff delivered very early, afternoon and very late.
My tracking numbers just showed up. It is still "In Progress" and there is null for carrier but theyre obviously FedEx numbers.
Order: 5/15 4pm EST via Premiere store
Changed from backordered 1 to 0 @ 12am EST 5/22
Tracking # showed up in order status @ 230pm EST 5/22
Hope that helps some people get some relief

P.S. It already shows as picked up and has delivery by 5/23 @ 3pm
So it probably was shipped awhile ago and Att can't keep up with refreshing the order status page

So....those of you with tracking numbers and "out for delivery"......you're more then likely going to get the phone today! Check out the www.macrumors.com front page. Once lucky user has already gotten his iPhone4 and sucessfully activated it.....

I ALMOST PEED MYSELF WHEN I HEARD THE DOORBELL RING AND I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW TO SEE THE FEDEX TRUCK STOPPED IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE!
I never though I would be so freaking excited to get a new phone!

It is way smaller then I even though it was going to be, and it feels awesome in my hand. Signal strength is way better than my 3GS too!

Same here. Waking up this morning to see the same page as, well, the last several days is certainly crushing. So much for first come first serve.
Gah, this frustrates me to no end. Had I known AT&T would have dropped the ball so hard that it apparently fell through the Earth to China (maybe to keep my forgotten iPhone company), I would have merely waited a few hours and gone to the Apple Store for a preorder/reservation instead.
I'm serious. At 2pm no tracking. At 230pm there was tracking and it says already picked up. It was probably shipped 12 hours ago

I ordered through premier around 2:50pm est and I was finally taken off back-orderlast night around 10pm. And i recently just received tracking numbers after not having them this morning, the carrier says null but when i enter the tracking numbers through fedex, it gives me the info that it is in texas and out for delivery tomorrow. I can finally stop worrying, im assuming that all of us will get to this point soon enough!

Mine said it shipped on the 17th, got the tracking numbers 2 days ago, but barely got the shipped e-mail this morning. The weird thing is I received 2 different shipped e-mails one specifically about the iphone 4 and one about my new phone about 2 hours apart each.
So I just got off the phone with FedEx. Apparently, Apple shipped theres early, and people are getting them as we speak. AT&T on the other hand, told FedEx to hold them til tomorrow for movement, and she said I would receive it anywhere between tomorrow and Friday. WTF!?!?!?
I don't live near an Apple Store so I am stuck with At&t either way

Hang in there.. that's about half hour to 45 minutes after mine, and I just literally got tracking within the last 5 minutes..
