thats what i am going to do today. im going there around 6 and explain my situation. but i know that they cant do anything. i just want them to listen my frustration.
 
UPS truck is here!! Unfortunately, Fedex is the one delivering my iPhone and still not here :( Fedex truck went out at 8:30 am PST and it's now 12 pm PST! This is making me anxious, for those who are waiting the UPS in my condo, congratulations on your new iPhone! :rolleyes:

Already tried it. You feel no better afterwards. Accept the fact that you have been screwed and wait. They will just listen to you and apologize.
 
Haha, when I try to email AT&T, i keep getting "Logged out for user inactivity" All i do is log in, click contact us, then email. Im still in progress, I love how I could have just stood in line, and actually GET a phone instead of "Pre"-ordering and have nothing, not even a tracking.

Here by 3:00 is complete BS seeing how my sister and friend got theirs at around 5 yesterday.

Why put a time up, if you're not going to hold yourself to it? Just gives consumers more right to be upset. Why limit yourself.....?

Either way I had to vent to people that cared :D:mad::confused::):eek::rolleyes::p:eek:
 
Anyone else not get a charge or even a hold on their credit card yet? That's the most concerning part of my situation. I feel like my order is somehow in limbo and the drones at AT&T I've talked to won't bother investigating to make sure it's actually "processing." :mad:

Don't attach any significance to the lack of a charge or hold--there never was a hold on my credit card nor any charge yet, and my iPhone 4 arrived noon CST. It is waiting for when I get home.

I cannot rule out the possibility that depending on one's credit rating (or payment habits if you're an upgrade customer), that they may place a hold to make sure you're good for the iPhone. But they didn't with me.

If things continue as they have been for the past couple of days, the first change you will see is a tracking number and it still shows processing. Later it will show shipped, and you should see your iPhone the following business day. Or it may get more real time--getting tracking # and shipped at the same time.

So start getting excited when you see that tracking number.

Anyone with 5051, 32GB, order thru att.com, 6/15 morning who GETS A TRACKING # please post it here in bigass bold letters. Give us all a heads-up. Post the email they send you as well.

god if i hear "thank you for your patience" one more time! listen woman i am NOT being patient with you, I am in fact very angry. this whole situation is ridiculous! what's the point of the preorder?! fyi i'm a 5051 ordered 7:30am on the 15th through AT&T, leaving T-Mobile. AT&T cancelled my order without contacting me 3 times. If I wasn't stalking the status page I wouldn't have known. I feel dirty now. Used. I want some reciprocity for my frustration!

I am mad about not getting my iPhone today,
but the one thing i am extremely frustrated is that the pre-ordering system was not first come first serve basis. I ordered my iPhone on June 15, 2:00am and people who ordered hours later already received their phone. I still don't have my tracking number or anything except "in progress".
My order was never back ordered also.
Yesterday, the CR supervisor told me that I was one of the lucky ones whose order was not canceled. I don't understand this...
Why am i the lucky one in this situation????
 
Just got mine! Its syncing now. Fedex still shows out for delivery by 430 (central).. So glad i got it 3 hours eariler than that :)

Im impatiently waiting for sync to finish
 
Got it. Right on time as promised when I pre-ordered on the 15th.

AT&T customer service could have been better along the way, but it got here.

Now waiting for activation. The AT&T guy activated it in the store but he said there was a jam up and it should go live "real soon." That was a couple of hours ago.

At least AT&T tried to get int the spirit with their launch day Apple-ized T-shirts. That's about as far as their skill goes. They know how to wear T-shirts. Went over to BestBuy after getting my phone because AT&T had zero (0) cases for the 4. BestBuy service was excellent. The guy there actually used an iPhone, made recommendations on cases (which I didn't follow, but nice gesture) and offered to put the case on my new baby (um, no thanks).

BTW Phone activation to AT&T seemed to work great. No waiting on line at all. I would recommend this route first than do Itunes. Good luck folks , I'm all setup and rocking and for those still waiting I really feel for you all.
 
mine finally came in the mail! now i just have to wait for 2 more hours to get home and use it :(
 
Received a follow-up email that I won't post because it's standard " we apologize for the frustration..." boilerplate fluff, followed by the same steps the CSR handbook says to include.

Only difference is that she claims they have not received the phones from Apple yet, hence mine not being shipped yet. Ehhhh...
 
If your phone is NOT activated yet, dial 611 on the working old phone and it gives you an option for activation. I did the iTunes activation thing and my phone said waiting for activation for like an hour.. I called in on the old phone and the new one started working within 5 mins.
 
The iPhone 4 has landed

Well I just got off the phone with AT&T, and they say my phone hasn't shipped.

I ordered a 32 GB online from AT&T on the 15th at about 9 am PDT. Received confirmation email a few min later. I received another email on the 16th saying it was being processed.

Well here it is the 24th and my credit card hasn't been billed for the order and my order status page still says "In Progress". It's a 6807 order.

Oh well I guess I won't see it until July. Sigh...
