**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Still nothing

Ordered 6/15, have had a FedEx tracking number since 6/22, but all it says on the FedEx site is "information sent to FedEx, ship date unknown". Credit card was charged last week, but still no iPhone and no information from AT&T. So disappointing.

For those not on AT&T Apple forum ...

Order # 101228475 ... 6/15 32gb. No updates since 6/15. No info but the OS001 error msg when checking order status with wireless no. on the regular site. Talked to a Premier supervisor this morning.

Supervisor processed my order and CC and I now have order info on the regular site!! Never been so happy to be backordered and late on delivery! She was awesome. Thanks to my friends here for helping me get this worked out.

Here's what happened to me: Orders are randomly pulled for fraud checks. Mine was in this pile which, obviously, is behind or overwhelmed with being reviewed. She pulled mine out of the quagmire, verified everything, and processed it. She expedited it (like everyone else) and priority overnight. She said that they never received all the 32gb models they needed but a large lot is coming in. Backordered with the sim.

Same status for me this morning and Premier line still hanging up. If my order doesn't ship in this batch (for tomorrow), I'm just going to cancel my order and wait a couple of months. 3GS is working fine and I don't need the headache of waiting for ATT to get their ducks in a row.

The main reason I wanted to upgrade was so that my better half would get my 3GS and IOS 4 on a decent platform.

I'd hang in there; 32gb are slow to arrive.
 
Anyone know the significance of the EXTP order numbers? I'm backordered with a date of 06/23, but my order number starts 62-2156xxxxxx-x.

Hanging out on the "I want to talk to a supervisor" queue. :) They now have a queue for that?

Anyone know what that blasted hold music is from?

<UPDATE> Giving up on the line. Don't have time for this today.
 
Another 6/15 EXTP8896 order here...

What sucks is that I placed two orders on the 15th at 8:30am EST. The first for my wife (which is the one above). Mine was ordered 5 minutes later and arrived on the 23rd!! Both via Premier :confused:

Anyway, just got off the phone with Premier who told me that the order should be filled and shipped today:rolleyes: I'll believe it when I see that FedEx truck in front of my door...

I have not been charged either. Although I was told that this can be normal, so if you think you're getting a free iPhone, I can assure you our luck is not THAT good....lol

I got my official FedEx tracking today, so unfortunately/fortunately I have to bow out at this game. I feel bad for all of you guys and gals still have pending orders. What do those EXTP order number mean? are they a special kind of premier orders?

Good luck to everybody, and I would recommend all of you to hunt down AT$T for them to do some serious customer service for all the F&$%-ups they did. I personally have filed a BBB complaint, so AT$T will have to deal with me, one way or another still, I hope, even when I get my delayed phone.
 
Just read on the AT&T boards that there were over 15,000 back-ordered phones that still haven't been fulfilled. I wonder if this "shipment" happening on the 29th is going to rectify that problem. Seems like the retail stores might have priority over the back-ordered phones :(

I can't even cancel my order and just try to walk into one of the retail stores. What a disaster...

For people who ordered through AT&T, I have a question.

1) Was there an option to pickup the phone at an authorized AT&T reseller?
2) At what time did AT&T start allowing preorders?
 
I ordered my iphone 4 32 GB black on the premier site on 15th morning 4am central time and received email confirmation immediately. My confirmation on the premier site was 10122819784142748. It still says processing. I checked the non-premier site and I seem to be having another order number here EXTP8896680891 and on this order, it says that my order date was 22nd and that my phone is backordered.
