I just got my 32G Iphone shipped. For everyone that is still waiting I just want to let you know it is worth the wait. I do know I will never order from AT&T again.
 
I don't have anymore new info for anyone waiting but I thought I could be added to the list and clear up the question about the business account. I ordered from premier at 9EST on the 15th, it is a business account and I have an order number showing from the 15th date. Order # 10122861113340XXX Below the order date I have an "update" date of the 24th and it's still "processing". I was one of the group w/ the bogus CC problems. I'll also never be ordering through AT&T again!
 
Ordered 6/15 5pm PST, ATT lost my CC info, ATT called me to update order on 6/23, #EXTP889669****. All items show as backordered on main ATT site. Old 1012 Premier order still shows as pending on Premier order status site.

I did call my local ATT store and they said I could come in tomorrow to set up new account, and cancel my online order if it is still showing backordered tomorrow.

I certainly did not get "Premier" service here. I know things happen but it would be nice to have some email communications to let me know what is going on. I've only received one email, and that was on the 15th confirming my order.

I'm switching from Verizon and am hoping ATT is not really this bad...???

I'm thinking of calling, but I haven't seen anybody in this particular group get AT&T to do anything, so i'm not sure the point.

Now that i know that there are hundreds, or thousands of people with the same problem, mine is no longer a "mistake".

It is a 100% mistake in the way that AT&T changes your order number, and puts you at the back of the line, but since it's policy, not sure who I can complain to that will get me my phones faster.

You have to check your order status on the regulat at&t wireless site.

The premeire site doesn't show it.

Ordered on the Premier site on 6/15 at about 5:30am eastern. Finally showed up on ATT the regular site on 6/22. CSR has been useless with a different response every time.

Ordered a 16g and a 32g.
 
Ordered 6/15 at 11:00 AM EST on Premier website. Finally processed on 6/22. Order date shows at 6/22. Still back ordered.

Got my 32GB today - had ordered on the 15th at 1:30 PM EST... so 4 days (2 business days) after the date originally promised by AT&T (the 24th.)

But...

Oh. So. Worth. The. Wait.

Keep the faith, people.

Update

I'm a member of the "ordered 6/15 6:50 AM AT&T premier, order screwed up, now a 6/22 order number EXTP8896" club as well.

Just got off the phone with "John" from business premier CS. He stated the following:

1) The phone should ship today. He saw no further holds.
2) The phone should actually be in the warehouse. Stated that they were not allowed to process any exchanges until the preorders were fulfilled.
3) He was not sure when/if orders would be shipped today. He stated that they used to be shipped out in batches of 500 at a time all day, but is unsure if that's still the case.

I'll update when/if I know more.

Quick update: Still no tracking info. I had filed a bbb report on Friday, and this evening got an email from a CSR asking for the exact same information to "resolve any issues." We'll see what becomes of that.

This might at least verify that they only get shipments on Tues and Thurs.

If that's the case, then tomorrow afternoon we should expect another round of people with tracking numbers.

I was just told the same thing from a CSR. I was also given half my monthly bill back as credit. :D I'm still debating trying to get inline tomorrow. There's already a line building up tonight and wasn't the point of pre-order to get outta the line? lol

Everyone should call and complain and demand credit. I did, and ended up with a total of $135 in credits. If enough people keep demanding compensation for their horrible ordering system, they might actually do something about fixing it for the poor saps who order the iPhone 5 next year.

are you guys calling 611 or premier support? I was already going to call and try to get 200 minutes of airtime credit since that is how many minutes I have wasted talking to people at premier web support who seem to know nothing, but extra bill credit wouldnt hurt my feelings either
 
So who wins the contest? The last one who ordered on the 15th to get their phone?
