**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Ordered mine on 7/6 in the AT&T store. They said that it would take 7 to 10 days for the 16GB iPhone to arrive.
Currently the order status says the 4 and whatever the freight are back ordered as of 7/8 (today). However, between their estimate and people on here talking about getting their orders within 3 days, I'm not too sure what to expect. As long as it doesn't take more than a week, I shouldn't freak out too much since I'm going on vacation this week.
I live outside of Chicago, anyone else on here from the area that can help me set some expectations?

Ordered a 32 on 7/1...came off backorder on 7/6 around 6pm...got a tracking number early morning on 7/8 and will be delivered on 7/9.
They probably got a decent supply in...Still doesn't explain why some people who ordered theirs 2 days ago have already gotten one and others who have been waiting weeks haven't...very interesting.
Geez, hold your horses. I ordered on 7/1 and AT&T Premier site still says "In Progress" with no change since 7/2.
^Well, a few people said they were getting their phone shipped within 24 hrs of ordering recently... so some of us got hopeful that the same would happen to us. But, not so much.

Sold my parents iPhones, was hoping it would be shipped overnight. A lot of people over at iCafe had theres shipped very quickly.

See my post made about 20 minutes before yours. The answer in my case is "No." I spent 40 minutes on hold with AT&T trying to talk to a human being to find out a reason for the delay when I finally got peeved and hung up.

Since we get a discount on our monthly bills I guess they think we should wait until after people that pay full price get there phones... lol
My company ordered mine (Black 16GB) on 7/2 through Premier and it is still on backorder.
7/2: Ordered 16GB in-store, shipping to home, non-premier.
7/4: Ordered 32GB in-store, attempted to cancel 7/2 order.
Learned 7/2 order was still showing in-progress. Spoke to several reps on phone who said they couldn't fix it, that I'd have to return the 7/2 order for a refund.
Finally today, spoke to a supervisor. Conversation went something like, "I tried to cancel an order and it's still showing in-progress."
"Okay, I cancelled it for you now."
"Wow, thanks." (within 2 mins it showed up as cancelled)
Amazing what a supervisor can do...
