I ordered as well on 7/7 (a 16GB black) from ATT store in california. still on backorder as of 6:30pm today

Update 11:30pm - my backorder status changed from 1 to 0. Waiting on tracking info now.

I called yesterday on my phone it said backorder and now today it said its been received and is being processed so I guess that means its off backorder and my 7/7 order is going to ship soon? Yesss

I had the same thing happen. I just checked my order status. and i still said back orderd. The AT&T call center dosen't open for another hour so imma call them and see.

I hope they didn't cancel my order.

Not sure if this is a sign (for recall), but I haven't noticed any movement on phones today and I just checked my bank account and my $210 pending transaction for the iPhone is gone and I've been credited back the money. I ordered from ATT store 7/10 a.m. and my order status still says backorder 1.

Yes, mine is a similar scenario. My hold fell off my account 07/15. I am probably going to call At&t today to make sure everything is kosher.

Backorder Status until I checked this morning July 13.
Shipped as of 7:00 tonight.
Estimated time of delivery is July 14 by 3pm!

Did you order a 16GB or 32GB? Where in US are you?

42 mins on hold....and still holding!!!! I keep checking my order. and the status hasn't changed...so this is both good and bad, meaning at least my order isn't cancelled.

okay just got off the phone with at&t online order folks. He said my order was fine. The charge will re appear at the time of shippment.

he also said that my order is scheduled to ship any where between 1 and 8 days from now. Since technically i am only on day 6 (business days). i kinda feel a lil better.

Good to hear. I figured that was the case. I figured mine should ship by the 20th or 21st, or at least I hope.

Is there a difference between ordering from att premier and ordering through the att store? Because if there is I will have to kick myself. Wednesday morning (7/14) I impulsively placed an order for a 32 gig in the store. I wasn't really planning to but I couldn't look at my 3g anymore.

Just got off the phone the Phone with ATT....My 16 gb iphone 4 will be here early next week...ordered in att store los angeles area on 7/11 10.00 am ....the guy on the phone said it was shipped already maybe on thursday but i havnt received any confirmation
