Starting to think of sending a concerned email, but after my experience with AT&T CSR over the phone last Wednesday, I just don't believe that would help. Here's what he told me:
1. In response to my question why the effective date for my data plan is noted as 8/29, he said it meant the date I would receive my phone...
2. After I said BS! to the response above, he offered to check my status. I told him it would be backordered and he said that in that case the order needed to be redone because backordered indicated that it got lost in the system or something like that.
3. when I said BS! again, he looked into the status and said, oh in your case backordered means that it's out of stock and once they receive in stock, it would take 7-14 days for them to ship the phone.. ?????!!!
So today, I tried calling again and guess who I had on the phone. I asked to speak to someone else and hung up after hearing some more BS.
