**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Well today is a critical day for my phone.
Ordered Upgrade 16GB on 7/12 @ 11am from an ATT store in Northern Maryland.
If it doesn't come off BO today, then I won't see if for over 10 days.
I leave for vacation on Saturday morning.
So I need it to come off BO today. Ship tomorrow. Arrive at store on Friday.
But since I am on this schedule, it won't happen :(

I was also a 7/12 order, a 16gb shipping to the northeast. I should be seeing mine shortly then, but my phone is still backordered every time I check. I'm hoping something happens today, but tomorrow sounds like a better chance since everyone is reporting a 10-day wait time it looks like.
 
I'm also a 7/12 order, 16gb shipping to the northeast, still backordered. I'm hoping for it to come off of backorder late today or tomorrow, as I'd really like to have my new phone for the weekend. This is my first Apple product, and I'm really looking forward to it! =)
 
Got my shipping info this morning. It should be here tomorrow. Ordered 16gb on 7/12 from AT&T Premier. Went off backorder yesterday around noon eastern. I'm a new AT&T customer.
 
Nice experience

Ordered 32gb from premier on 7/14 about 4pm eastern. Out for fed ex delivery as we speak. Pretty fast turn around. This is after Apple screwed up my order for the phone on June 19th, then had to cancel and re-order but decided att might be faster and I guess I made the right choice.
 
im a 7/13 order... so hopefully something changes for me today as well if not im going to start raising a fuss because this is just a bit outrageous that some ppl who have ordered after even the 7/12 have come off backorder and some gotten there phones this is ridiculous
 
The online orders seem to be shipping faster than in store ones. Ordered in store on 7/11, and nothing . . . . .
 
So I ordered Sunday night, the 18th, and it says in progress and in back ordered. Any ideas when it will ship? Also, when I get it, I will need to activate it right, or will ATT do that. So If ATT need to do the activation I will need to make an appointment or can I walk in?

16GB are taking 10 business days, 32GB about 8.

There should be a number for you to call to activate, if I'm not mistaken.

My wife's wouldn't activate through iTunes, so she called 611 and there was an option to activate. It only took 5 minutes after the call.
 
Ordered July 11 and just received it 20 minutes ago, damn this is one sexy phone can't seem to put it down.

I ordered my wife's phone on Saturday, July 10th and my order is still showing in progress. It is a little ridiculous that some people who ordered after the 10th have already gotten their phones. I don't get it.

I know... I mean the lady said 7-10 days, and I REALLY want to see it by the end of this week :( it seems like ive been waiting forever! im getting so impatient

My order was submitted on 7/10 and came off backorder this morning. My fiancee's phone shipped first and we got shipping detail on it. But my phone is still processing. I will be pissed if mine does not ship today too. That is the way the cookie crumbles.:mad::apple:
 
Mine is still showing as backordered too I forgot to mention and my order date was 7/10. I spoke with an ATT guy at the store and he said it should be here by Monday or Tuesday at least. They are averaging 10 days is what he told me.
 
Don't Just Sit and Wait - Let AT&T Know

If you have an AT&T in backorder but also happen to be a priority list at Apple store, definitely pay attention to any updates from Apple. Last week Apple shot me an email to tell me my phone's ready for pickup (32GB), so I called AT&T to cancel my order. What do you know, they couldn't do it because it was in "limbo status" (the rep must have seen Inception), meaning it's ready to be shipped but hasn't not been picked up by UPS/Fedex yet. So the rep promised to track my order personally and follow-up with updates. It was finally shipped yesterday, and she actually proactively called me and even offered a "convenience" credit to take some $$ off my next bill!

So don't just sit there and wait in frustration - let AT&T know you're dying for your new device!

off backorder 7/20 am
tracking info 7/20 pm
arrival 7/21 before 3pm in Tempe, AZ

11 day turnaround isn't too bad. can't wait to go home and play with it!

I have no clue how to track my order so I was hoping all of you could help me. I ordered the iphone 4 16 GB from the At&t store near my home in NY. So I would be North East. Also I ordered it on the 14th at 6 pm. I was just hoping to see if any of you could help me with this. They said no longer than 14 days at the store but maybe you all have some more helpful info on when to expect my new phone.

All you have to do is go to www.att.com. Hopefully you have a login user and password. Then from main page, there is a link to "Check Order Status". Select Wireless Device (looks like a blackberry). Enter the mobile number and select check by "wireless number". Then enter zip code of where it is shipped to. Then enter message and hit "SUBMIT" Hope that helps you out.
 
fedex on weekends?

did anyone get their iphone on a weekend?? or do u know if fedex delivers on weekends?
