**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Yeah funny thing is that I ordered two phones, one came from Tx via UPS 2nd day air and the other from TN via Fedex 2nd day air. So who knows what the logic. I suspect that it depends on what warehouse it comes from.

So as this morning started good, but still no shipment info:mad:
So looks like there is a slim chance I will see the phone tomorrow.:(

yea man same with me, im leaving for two weeks on saturday and was really hoping to have it by then...order 7/12 and thought i would have it by tomorrow...

Yep. 845pm and still no shipping. Fantastic.
Maybe I'll get lucky and it is just taking a long time to enter the info into the system and it already left. But I gave up hope around 4pm.
No an iPhone will not have a home for over a week later.
:(
 
Ordered on 7/12, AT&T Store, 3:30PM.
Off backorder this morning, shipped this evening.

Unfortunately, scheduled delivery is Monday....I was really hoping for tomorrow.

Got the shipping info for these the morning of 7/21. Both shipping to NY via UPS. 1 arrived in Newark NJ tonight on schedule the others most recent update is Out For Delivery in DALLAS/FT. WORTH Texas:confused:

Called UPS and they said it was put on a truck for delivery in Texas in error and that they need at least 24 hrs from the most recent scan in order to being their issue investigation.

I'm also a 7/12er and I went by the AT&T store that I ordered it from tonight, and they were kind of puzzled as to why mine has not been shipped to me yet.

However, they did tell me that all the 7/9 orders they had shipped to the store had already been picked up. I guess that ill wait and see what happens tomorrow or monday.
 
Ordered 32gb black on 7/19 on att.com and was just shipped from ft. worth tx, est arrival is 430 pm on 7/23. I'm in midwest illinois.
 
AT&T Customer Service == Incompetent

Ordered 7/13 from premiere, has yet to reach the processing stage.

Called customer "support" multiple times and never spoke to someone before a thirty minute wait. First few calls no one knew or did anything, one eventually escalated my case and said I would receive a call at a certain time (he said my order got lost in the system). I never received the call.

I called back a couple days later, went through the whole process again. I insisted I would stick with my current provider if nothing could be sorted, and was eventually put on hold while she spoke to her supervisor.

Yada, yada, yada... Her supervisor told her the order was locked and that he would take care of it and have the phone shipped that night (a few days ago).

Nothing ever happened.

I tried to give them my money,

but **** this.

Well, now that the July Preteens seem to be getting their phones, it's time for us July Late-teens to start obsessing in this thread.

Ordered my phone on the 18th at the AT&T store in Palo Alto. Went for the 16, but now I kind of wish I had gotten the 32 since it seems to be shipping out super fast for people. The guy at the store told me the orders were arriving in less than 7 days, however, so hopefully I'll get it by next Tuesday at the latest.

AT&T status is still "In Progress" though, dammit...
 
Stay away from AT&T!

AT&T really suck. Try to sell me apple care by telling me it covers accidents. And tell me I can't cancel the order still in process before it shipped. I think I am a fool sign another 2 year contract to get iPhone 4.

Ordered Two Black 16gb iP4's on 7/13 In Store.

One for me, one for my mom.

One is going to Albuquerque, NM
One is going to San Francisco, CA

Still on Backorder! I'll update whenever I find something out. My mom told me a boiling pot never boils so I've gone from checking my order status 6 times a day to 2 times a day.... I've never owned an iPhone before so I'm Very Eager to get it!!!!! But I understand about having to wait. I just think it would be nice to have more input about Order dates and how long they are taking to ship! :D
 
THread was too long to read, but part of the issue with 16GB taking so long is likely that at the beginning of the month they started becoming available to the corporate channels.

I know my company (of 20,000 employees) authorized the 16GB as a company provided phone on July 1. The won't pay for a 32GB, and I'd guess thats the same with most major players. I know of 15 people in my office alone that ordered them the first week.

My order went in on the 20th. Jobs only knows when that will ship....

When the iPhone 4 comes, it should have a return shipping label in it (that's what AT&T told me). Just slap it on the box and send it back.

Hey, I've been lurking for a while and just decided to register. My 7/11 online, non-Premier, existing customer order is on the delivery truck right now but I'm stuck at work and wasn't able to arrange to leave it at a neighbor's house. They do require a signature, right? I saw someone dozens of pages back say the driver left it without even ringing the doorbell. I wouldn't want it sitting out on my front doorstep all day anyway. Now I regret not ordering in a store, so I could at least pick it up after work.

I was wondering about the signature thing also, but my tracking info says standard overnight shipping with fedex. It doesnt say signature confirmation or anything like that, so I think they will just leave it.
