**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Okay so i just checked and it now shows that there is 0 qty backordered for all 3 items. However, the status hasn't changed and still says in progress.

Is this a normal step? Does this mean my order has finally come off back order and they are in the process of shipping it?

EDIT: I ordered 7/15 and so I feel that this is a bit early for me considering that most 7/12-7/13's just got shipping info today.

Ordered 7/23, on backorder until 7/27. Off backorder and scanned in 7/27 now for 2 Day air UPS.

I ordered the 32 gig iPhone. Black, because there is no white. But, I am very happy and suspect that I will get the phone tomorrow. It's in Dallas/Ft. Worth and I am in Cincinnati. Oh, how I would love to get it today, but I fear that isn't going to happen.

I'd say that Apple, UPS and AT&T are doing a good job so far. Considering the workload, they are doing a great job.:apple:

the 32gb's are shipping out faster and faster! wish i bought that instead of the 16gb.
 
Ordered two 32GB on Friday 7/23, shipping out today! Thanks to this thread, I'm getting my phones quickly. I was always getting a 32GB, but ended up ordering a 16GB for wifey too so it would get here fast. Couldn't have mine come in first, would have got jacked for it with the quickness. :eek:
 
7/15, 16gb, shipped today, est. arrival tomorrow (7/27) @ 3:00pm. I live in Beaumont Texas and it shipped from Fort Worth. :D
 
Ordered a 16gb iPhone 4 from an AT&T store in La Grange IL on 7/13. Received an email this morning that it shipped with UPS 2nd Day delivery. Kind of bummed because it took three days longer to come off back order than my fathers iPhone and his was shipped with FedEx next day delivery. Still excited to finally get it though, I was ready to throw My HTC Evo 4g into the nearest wall lol.

Me and you are on the same boat. I ordered mine late that night and so far nothing has changed. I don't expect anything until late this week for something to change
 
Okay...I ordered 16gb on 7/24 on the Premier website. They immediately put the funds (debit card) on hold. Still backordered...but the funds have been released from hold and are still in my account. Not sure what to think now... Anyone have that happen to them? What was the result?

I tried to cancel and was told they could not. They said I would have to wait until the phone got here then get a refund.

They also said I would have to activate it first, but the executive office said that is not true.
 
Been following this thread for a while, and I just came off backorder.

Ordered online 7/18 Premier 32gb. Billed to DC/Baltimore area, but shipping to NC Triangle area (dunno if that complicates processing). Still no shipping info.
 
Maybe someone who works for Fedex knows what's going on..

I got my tracking number yesterday and my delivery date is tomorrow, but I'm not sure what to make of why my package never really left Memphis..

This is what the tracking info says:

Jul 27, 2010 1:16 AM Arrived at FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN

Did it leave one Fedex facility (Apple warehouse?) to the Memphis hub?
And, if anyone else has any packages coming out of Memphis today, (They are having delays because of the weather down there) would a 2-day package be flown to me (Northern VA) or put in a truck?

Ordered a 16 gig on 7/12 and still no shipping info. Ordering from apple's website was a big mistake.

Yeah I'm getting the same answer. Called AT&T, Apple, and my local AT&T store.

Feel stupid ordering it this way now since my local Best Buy has them in stock.....

you have to talk to the ordering department...just ask them to transfer you.
 
I'm seeing a lot of 7/23 32's being off backorder/shipped. I'm a 7/24 32GB. I hope I'll see something tomorrow!
