hey im 7/13er and my phone finally shipped today, I have a couple of questions my phone shipped UPS 2nd Day Air, and the questions I have are 1. is the location they come from in Texas and I live in Atlanta and it says its currently in Memphis, Tennessee should I get my phone tomorrow or wednesday by the sound of that info

I ordered my black iPhone 4 (16GB) on Friday, the 23rd. Still waiting for tracking info. I hope i get it before the 6th, when i go to Chicago.
I ordered mine 7/19, but Apple sent me an email the day I walked in for a reservation. So I finally have my 32, and my Premier order was still on BO.
Just a warning, it took almost 2 hours for me to cancel my order. And there were many calls made because I ported a number online. I had to get a temp number, cancel the temp, add the online port.
And my order shows canceled under ATT but still processing under Premier.

I had an order online since Saturday (3 days now) and they had told me 7-14 days but just canceled the order.
Today, I had a stroke of luck and my buddy found one at a store so he rushed in to pick it up. Its only a 16gb version but its MINE now! (Waiting on UPS, should be here Wednesday morning!) WOOHOOO!!!

Yes, because forum members work at fedex. I gave him an appropriate answer and it was not rude. If he truly wants to know he should just call fedex.
It should be on your receipt. I ordered in the store and was given like a 3 foot long receipt and the order number was highlighted near the top.
Depends. I know that with consumer and premier, if we say you can't cancel it's because it is in a prepaid drp status, which is basically the system's way of saying it's going to ship really soon (most of the time, sometimes it messes up and sticks it there anyways and we still can't cancel it.)
If you want to return it, just refuse shipment with fedex / ups. If not, call the department you ordered from for an rma. If it's consumer, they usually come with it in the box. If it's premier, you do need to call. Yes, I know how long the wait is. Tonight there were a few points where we hit over an hour. Again.
Premier customer ordered 32GB Black in AT&T store on 7/23 came off backorder around 11:00 pm on 07/26 waiting for tracking number. I am in VA.
Ordered 2 16's in an AT&T store on 7/23. Got home and googled to see if I could find a current wait time till shipped, found this forum. I was on the fence about 16 vs. 32 and after reading this thread decided to cancel my 16 order and get 32's. Called the store on 7/25 and the rep told me there was no way they could cancel as the order was already in Apple's hands (actually back-ordered per the AT&T order status page). Called another store and the rep asked the manager. Answer was yes I could cancel my current order and place a new order for the 32s.

If my order status just says 'QTY Ordered" 1 and 'QTY Backordered' 0 does that mean my phone is shipping soon? I checked a few hours ago and it said 'QTY Backordered' 1.

I think my 32 GB 4 just came off backorder. I ordered from ATT.com (regular site, not premier), and the order status has 3 columns: Qty ordered, qty shipped, and qty backordered. Earlier today it was 1 ordered, 0 shipped, 1 backordered, but now it's 1 ordered, 0 shipped, 0 backordered. Does this mean it's about to ship? Also, are a lot of people seeing their orders fulfilled, since I heard a rumor Apple was pushing to clear the backorder lists before launching in other countries?
Okay so i just checked and it now shows that there is 0 qty backordered for all 3 items. However, the status hasn't changed and still says in progress.
Is this a normal step? Does this mean my order has finally come off back order and they are in the process of shipping it?
EDIT: I ordered 7/15 and so I feel that this is a bit early for me considering that most 7/12-7/13's just got shipping info today.

i work at fedex, if tracking info says its in memphis there is a pretty good chance you may get it tomorrow because a box gets scanned when its leaving the facility, and the trucks leave as soon as they are loaded
