Ordered 16gb in At&t Store 7/22. Just came off backorder. No shipping info yet!

It is 2 day because it leaves on Monday, travels monday and tuesday and is ready to be delivered first thing Wednesday. 8/2 to 8/3 is one day, and 8/3 to 8/4 is the second day. That is how 2 day shipping works.

How about we just be thankful that our package is actually on its way? (For the people are boohooing about 2day shippin....At least theyre not doing "Standard shipping"....lol
 
I figured it out!

YAY! so as I mentioned earlier, I was going to pray to the AT&T gods that my phone get off back order today, and guess what?! I just checked again and it came off backorder!!! So there's the secret? or maybe just crap luck lol.

Ordered 16gb - new customer - on 7/22 - att website
Now off back order and waiting for the shipping details! :)

seriously at least your phone has been shipped.

i'm a 7/23er hoping mine comes off backorder today as well. 16gb in store.

EDIT:"your phone" as in the people complaining. just wanted to be clear :)
 
This gives me hope since it seems quite a few people who placed their order on 7/22 or 7/23 are having their phones come off BO. I placed my order the morning of 7/26, so we'll see.
 
7/19 16gb

Ordered on 7/19 in store around 1:30 p.m.
Came Off Back Order 7/29
Shipped 7/30
En route for Delivery 8/02

There is definitely a trend.

Usually 16 gb iphones get off backorder 10 days from order date.
So 22ers you should be next.

Are you being shipped through FEDEX or UPS?

ATT shipped through UPS 2ND DAY AIR

I just checked my tracking information again.
The iphone's delivery date was originally for 8/03 but was updated today to 8/02!!! Usually stores get their orders in around noon.

Grrr.. mine says was shipping the 30th and UPS information still says they just received the shipping information, not showing any scan locations yet... brawr!

Agreed anyone who deals with shipping knows: Overnight = There tomorrow.
2 day equals the day after tomorrow.

Today= 8/2
Tomorrow= 8/3
Day After = 8/4

End of tutorial.

Looks like the guy is from outside world (meaning out of US), hence confused with the terms.
 
My 16GB ordered from the AT&T store on 7/22 just came off the BO! I am now gonna assume that it will ship on Tuesday and come on Thursday.

what size did you order? 16 or 32?

Just to give you an idea, i ordered 7/21 on premier, showed up 7/22 on "regular" att site, still on BO as of today.

premier+16gb is what has the longest wait according to the trends of this thread. hopefully ours should be off bo sometime this week.

that sucks bro! must have been picked up late friday, or worse yet, not even picked up yet!
 
my 16gb finally came off of BO overnight. no shipping information provided yet. i was irritated with the fact that i place my order by phone with AT&T on July 20, yet my date ordered was listed as July 22.
