that's pretty sweet. maybe they are finally catching up and stores will begin stocking them soon! I am ready to upgrade - just need them to be in stock so I can use my gift cards!
just bought one from the Apple Store on the UWS in NYC. the new one that just opened. 5 minute wait in line. guy in front of me supposedly bought 2 that morning and they said they were only going to sell 2 more to him that day and that's it
called at 9:30am and they said they had them in stock. went over at lunch time

My apology. I guess I didn't address it correctly. I didn't mean you are saying crap.I ordred this in store. So I have to pick it up by traveling one hour. The estimate arrival is on 8/4 8:00 pm at night. If you think about it, it is definitely more than 2 days. I don't want to get out of this issue in this way, but the truth is that I want to get the phone faster.And I am not the only one.
No matter how you guys address this common sense or tutorial, it is just all about getting tired of wait. Try to understand.
why oh why did I not spend the extra $100 for the 32gb?
Bought 16gb on Premier 7/26 and hit Att.com same day 7/26. Still BO
My sister ordered from an AT&T store that same day. 16GB to be shipped to her office. We've yet to see anything past the 23rd come off of BO & there are still some days prior to the 23rd that haven't come off BO yet so I'm expecting my sister's to come off BO this weekend. There's usually a big shipment to AT&T on Tuesdays so we should see a lot of movement tomorrow.
Ordered 16 gb via Premier on 7/25 and still BO. Best Buy had them in stock today but with the crap shoot about canceling and the extra hassle, I figured I could wait it out.

theres a premier oder status thread around here somewhere. it would probably be better to find that thread to see when others who orderd from premier and when theya re recieveing their phones.
i all 3 of us are ordered around the same and should get ~the same ship dates.

Order a 32g for me and a 16g for my wife from the AT&T store on the 22nd just before closing. My 32g shipped on the 27th and arrived at the store on the 29th. Wife's 16g is still not shipped. I, too, should have paid the extra $100 bucks and got her the 32g.
Seeing 7/22 and 7/23 16GB people come off back-order is reassuring. Hope it's not long now for my 7/25!

It's a pain from what I have heard. You wont be able to upgrade the phone you picked up they have to cancel the order and that could take up to 3days. Just heard that from word of mouth, so not 100% sure.

Gotcha. I'm sick of the wait too. I was like after a 2 week wait the least they could do was overnight the son of a gun to me.

I got my two 16GB iphone 4 from local Apple store (Chandler, AZ) on Friday evening. They have both version in stock.
Canceled my AT&T premier order this morning, the premier support is not working on weekend. (order placed on July 24, still in back order as of this morning, new lines).
Check your local Apple store if you don't want to wait any longer...
