**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Got Shipping Info

First post to this thread...

Ordered via premier around 1am PST on the 15th.
Just got my FedEX Tracking Number! wohoooooooo :)
 
Mine still says back-order, order on the 6/15 I don't think I will be getting this month :(

1.hold on the money was only one day never charge (i use a debit with master card logo on it)
2. att order status said back-order order it 6/15 at 10:23am MT
3. order over the phone dialing 611
4. never ever got an email from att for order confirmation

this really sucks :(
 
1. Premier or regular? Regular attwireless.com upgrade for four of five lines on a family plan.
2. What time did you order? Shortly before 11AM Pacific 6/15, site crashed in final-checkout and order didn't materialize until next day.
3. What are the two order dates you have (Business order and regular order) Just the one date, 6/16. Also when the pending CC charge showed up. Order placed on 6/15
4. Were your items ever back-ordered? When? Never that I saw. In progress, 1/0/0 the whole time

For the record, order number is 6808XXXXX, four 32GB iPhones, just received CSS e-mails this morning, no signs of shipping yet. Called AT&T yesterday to go over some address weirdness, and they claimed everything looked good.

That doesn't actually answer my question. Had this been a replacement pacemaker that millions of people were waiting for and needing for their continued existence - I would fully understand. Order debacles happen all the time, if this were for a new cashmere sweater - would we be discussing it right now?

I am a phone geek as much (or so I thought) as the next person - bit this is simply mind boggling. It's safe to say that this is interrupting peoples work, their home life, etc - for absolutely no reason.

I bet everyone on here already has a cell phone, and if they don't, they made it this far so they can wait a few more days...

3. What are the two order dates you have (Business order and regular order) Both dates say 6/15
4. Were your items ever back-ordered? When? It showed back-ordered until yesterday afternoon.


Got an e-mail at 9:10AM CST saying my 16GB has been shipped. My card still hasn't been charged yet. I'm assuming that will happen when it actually is on the way to me?
 
it seems to me that anyone who is getting their tracking numbers are people who upgraded a line not people who are signing up to ATT for the first time.
 
I wonder what the difference is between people who have "shipped" with a fedex number and "in progress" with a fedex number. It seems like they should both have the same status if they are all shipped. AT&T makes no sense to me.
 
Another slight change in my order. I knew it paid to order from AT&T!

Hmmm mine just changed from "in progress" with a tracking number to, "Shipped" with a tracking number.
 
I called ATT, They said, my order is in the 2nd warehouse that is on back order but it should be getting shipped tmrw.

I'm pretty sure this just means that they haven't updated the status yet.

My order said 'processing' with a tracking number about an hour ago, now it says 'shipped'.

But still says "in progress". Does that just mean it just prepared for shipment?

And for those that are getting their order status upgraded to "shipped", are you getting email confirmations as well when the your status changes?

I placed my order on 6/15 at around 6A CST, but didn't get a confirmation until the 16th. My order with AT&T showed the 6/16 date. I have a duplicate order with Apple.

Just a few moments ago, I received the CSS email from AT&T and I now have my tracking information, although my status still shows "In progress" on the page with the Fedex tracking number, so likely they've xmitted my package information for billing but its not yet been picked up by Fedex. I've seen this before with other AT&T shipments in the past. It shows a ship date of today, 6/21/2010. If its worth anything, my order never showed any "backorder" status....always showed just the order qty. This is the 32G model btw.

On a related note, my Apple order is also inbound. So I placed an order with both companies and as of right now have 2 iPhones inbound to my home address, both at subsidized pricing, on the same line. So much for them "catching" all these dupe orders. In my case at least, no cancellations.

I'll obviously be returning one, likely the AT&T one since there is a store just up the street from me.
 
Good to see others getting shipping notification. Not as lucky on mine yet.

Could only see order at Premier site until today.

Has different order number starting with EXTP

Anyone else have a similar order history? Any reason to be worried?
 
So, I have a date of shipping as the 19th and a tracking number, but the status still reads as "in progress" rather than shipped!

Mine is now showing as shipped :)

Was able to order initially using Internet Explorer in Windows as suggested by some forum members. Any other browsers / os combo wasn't working.
 
This is infuriating -

I got my order in before 9 am Arizona time - Premier - and it is still sitting as backordered...

It wouldn't matter so much - except it is shipping to where I will be ONLY on Thursday and Friday...
