IMEI & ICCID Activation

Along with my order email I got activation instructions (once the phone arrives). Right now it doesn't show any IMEI or ICCID numbers but I'm wondering if this info might show up once a phone is paired with an order. FYI, my order was through the Premier site.

Ordered on the 15th around noon, showed an order date of the 16th. Just got updated with tracking info but still "in progress" and not shipped yet.
 
Well I called again this morning and all the guy wouldn't tell me anything other than my order was in the system and that chances are the warehouse had my order and would probably ship it soon.


LOL!!! Alot of the CSR's are really clueless and just tell you anything. I will post as soon as I get a shipping confirmation. Whenever the hell that is!!! LOL!!!!!
 
I noticed someone say they haven't seen anyone with premier say they have shipped. I am wondering if this has to do with the delay in updating from the premier part of AT&T to the standard order status portion. I know last Tuesday that it was later in the day before the phone showed up on the premier site.

Then I saw the post two above mine that says he is a premier customer.

I am with Premier and mine has shipped, both on AT&T and Premier order status.

3. What are the two order dates you have - 6/15
4. Were your items ever back-ordered? When? yes, when I first ordered - after a day it went to "in progress"

I am still in progress and it's driving me insane

2. What time did you order?
3. What are the two order dates you have (Business order and regular order)
4. Were your items ever back-ordered? When?

How are you planning on doing the upgrade swap? In store or just call to have them swap info?

I spoke to a rep before the pre-order and she informed me I just have to call in and update the IMEI number to my account BEFORE attempting to activate through iTunes.. So that will be my first method of choice.. Contacting AT&T via phone, if they can't get it done I'll take a drive to AT&T..

on a side note, i was trying to set up a mywireless account, since my line just got added to at&t. and oh, the last 45 mins have been fun.

had to talk online with a customer service rep, she had to reset my account because something went wrong with the temp password going to email and whatnot. THEN, when i finally get the all clear, i kept getting repeated error messages. blarghh.

anywho, she asked if there was anything else she could help me with and i decided to test my luck and ask about my iphone order. she said it had been given a tracking number (true) and was waiting to be shipped at the facility, supposedly today.

woot :p

It's more about the fact that communication has been horrible, and nobody knows where anybody stands, so crowd-sourcing is the only way to try to get some answers.

Yes, we're all excited about a cool new phone, but my bet is that there wouldn't be 65 pages of posts if the whole ordering debacle hadn't happened.
 
What I can't figure out is why you guys aren't standing outside Apples offices right now?

Asking every single other human being who ordered one isn't going to help you. No one has received one thus far.

If you really want to know, like really really want to know - you need to call in and find out. If the first person doesn't give you a 100% definitive answer that satisfies you, then ask to speak to their supervisor. If they can't help you, then go up another notch...

Comparing statuses, order dates, order numbers, ship dates, tracking numbers, astrological signs, birthmarks, social security numbers, and shoe sizes isn't going to do anything to make you feel totally satisfied because you are still relying on someones order status other than your own.
 
Just got an email saying that my order has been shipped. The email was sent at 9:00am PST, today (6/21).

As is with everyone else, when clicking on the tracking number, it doesn't appear on FEDEX's system yet.

I pre-ordered a 32gb and a 16gb iphone4 at around 4:30am CST on 6/15.

I'm a premier customer upgrading 2 existing lines.

Back Ordered status changed on 6/19
Ship Date: 6/20

My order number through the regular site starts with: 0250-
My order number through the premier site starts with: 101

Received AT&T CSS email at 9:40am CST (6/21)

* 2 x 16gb models
* Never back ordered

Got my confirmation email the next day (06/16), and the shipped status gives a date of 06/17.

Agreed, it is kind of ridiculous...but I still have a damn good time sleuthing around for info, plus its exciting to see others getting their orders through and the quotes that go along with them "Boner!" Haha
 
Whats the "cut-off" time everyone is talking about?

A mythical beast known as 4:30 EST. We can't tell if there's any validity to the claim. In fact, I'm pretty sure people after the cutoff have announced that they've been shipped.
