**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Just hanged up with a very nice Premier Agent
I was concerned to the fact that I haven't received a shipment confirmation.
She assured me that ALL ORDERS DONE ON JUNE 15th WILL BE SHIPPED ON WEDNESDAY AND RECEIVED ON THURSDAY THE 24th regardless on what time they were ordered .. She says they just had a meeting regarding this !!!

I can't see any charge yet online, but the hold is still there. Probably just needs some time to post to my account.
Does anyone know how to confirm your shipping address? During the ordering process, I specified a shipping address different than the one I have for billing. (which is my old residence) I just want to make sure the system didn't mess up and AT&T ships to the address I specified. Went to the AT&T store, said they couldn't help. Tried calling the Premier line, and it's been busy.
Uh.. If the cashmere sweater had a retina display, HD video, face time, etc... YES!
But seriously... true, it's just a gadget.. but we gadget freaks get pretty excited about this stuff... So go sell reasonable somewhere else....

I still could understand it if they were only going to make a limited amount and if you didn't get one, you were SOL - but for the love of god, there are going to be plenty - enough for every single person who wants one!

This theory was already debunked. Folks whose last name begins with M have had their processed before folks whose last name begins with A.
Don't for 1 second believe that you are going to receive the phone on June 24th until the Fedex guys places the box in your greasy palm.

Also, the fact that some people have received confirmation already and some have not is because they are also processing by the first letter of the last name !!!

Only the Premiere customer service can help. I entered the wrong zip and they fixed it for me.

MY situation...
Ordered 16gb on 6/15 @ 1:15pm CST from ATT website.
Order conformation 5051....
Called ATT Thursday, she said my order never went through. So I figured I'd wait it until everything calmed down to order again.
Saturday, checked my bank and the funds for the order are pending.
Called ATT back and they said the order did go through and when the order status came through Sat, it said In progress and ordered. It wasn't back ordered.
I have still yet to receive any emails and my order date on my status says 6/18! When I ordered it the 15th!

perhaps my backwards theory will prove true...
Received my Order Shipment Notification email from AT&T premier this morning at 7am! It has a FEDEX tracking number and more instructions on how to activate the phone.
att's order status page changed from backordered=1 to 0 yesterday afternoon.
I placed my order for the 32GB iPhone 4 at 1:30am PDT on June 15th. Can't wait until Thursday!
Also, I preordered a 16GB for my girlfriend at 10am on June 15th. Her att order status page still says backordered=1, and her date ordered reads June 16th. Hopefully her's will be shipping soon too.

My order status shows "shipped" but the carrier is "null" although there is a tracking number. I tried the tracking number at both UPS and FEDEX with no recognition by either company of that number. Is anyone else having similar problems? I ordered mine on June 15 at about 5:15a.m (EDT).
This just means that Apple has assigned a FedEx tracking number to the package but that FedEx hasn't picked it up and scanned it into their system. Until that happens, which depends on where the AT&T packages are shipped from and what time Fed-Ex arrives to pick them up, is when that will finally update. I would expect tomorrow (typically 24 hours after apple assigns a tag).
