**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

This is true even for regular orders on the internet. It will take at least 6 hours for things to usually show up
 
Mine is showing 0 quantity shipped, but has a fedex tracking number...my guess is that they're in the process of sealing the box and applying the label :confused: I can't wait (well, yes, I can...but I don't wanna :D)

Maybe. I'm "v" so I'll let you guys know if my status changes. I'm currently backordered, ordered via premier.

Also, the fact that some people have received confirmation already and some have not is because they are also processing by the first letter of the last name !!!

enough and I hope FedEx doesn't show up at 8pm :D

Are they only processing Premier orders by last name? Because my last name ends with an A and I haven't been shipped yet.

att's order status page changed from backordered=1 to 0 yesterday afternoon.

I placed my order for the 32GB iPhone 4 at 1:30am PDT on June 15th. Can't wait until Thursday!

Also, I preordered a 16GB for my girlfriend at 10am on June 15th. Her att order status page still says backordered=1, and her date ordered reads June 16th. Hopefully her's will be shipping soon too.

I ordered through the premier website at around 8:30AM EST or so on the 15th. It still says backordered. My last name begins with "H" if that matters. Very discouraging....

Mine says "null" as well. I don't think it is a problem as the email gives me a FEDEX tracking number matching what the att order status has listed.
 
I got my shipping confirmation email from AT&T Premier for one of my orders. The status of other one changed from 101 to 100 late yesterday. I hope I get both of them on 24th.
 
First letter of my lname is "X"...guess I'll be waiting a while!

My last name begins with K... so I think the alphabetical theory is bunk

What they are doing is first processing the obsessive people who refresh AT&T Status pages over and over and over. Why? Because these people are eating up bandwidth and putting unnecessary load on AT&T systems, so they want to rid themselves of these people first. The sane people will get packaged last.

Good to know. I haven't received any shipping confirmation email from AT&T though, hope that comes soon. Maybe I should check with customer service..

I don't believe that is the case. I've been tracking friends orders peoples order on this site. I ordered at 6:30AM PST on AT&T Premier and I have not yet shipped.

The moral of the story is go to AT&T's website and refresh like a crazy person.

They've now introduced new tiered "order status data plans". Only about 0.5% of those with iPhone orders were using up 99% of the bandwidth. Most people will save....:p

If that's the case, my wife has a while to go. Her last name starts with Y.. haha

It is the case, they are NOT shipping on first come first serve basis.

With the way this whole thing is going.....You just know that phones are going to show up to peoples houses before the 24th......I know apple loves to make them wait.......but this is so chaotic that some are going to slip through the system don't chya think???
