So I also had the issue with the Terms and Conditions Email confirmation when I placed the order on 10/7 @ 9am PST. Date Ordered online says 10/10 but I have "0" on "Back ordered" it just says In Progress & Pending Shipment.

Does anyone else have this order status?

Lucky, mine is saying i ordered it the 9th and i'm backordered. :mad:
 
Is anyone else unable to log into their wireless account? I want to check my status there (OCD, I know), but I can only check it using the order number to look it up. #firstworldproblems

Anyway, I haven't received a shipping email. I got two confirmation emails, but neither of them was on the day I ordered - I ordered Friday morning and got my first confirmation on 10/8, though luckily my account shows that I ordered 10/7.

Eh, my status shows shipped as of 10/9 with the typical inactive Fedex shipping number - btw white 16gb. My order number begins with 50238 if anyone is still tracking that.
 
When did you notice they were shipped? was it just recently or earlier in the morning? Maybe they're starting to work on the in store orders now

I notice this morning when I check the order status. Yesterday they both said pending shippment, they when from 1 backordered to 0 backordered and thats when it said pending shipment. I would post a screen shot but as i'm work thats not possiable. there is no details on the ups shipping number yet but it dose say shipped. and its the white 32g 4s.

Me too. He continued to make no sense, except for when he pasted in automatic replies. I'm chatting with someone new now. They're going to hate me by the end of today. :p

May be they will actually do their job and look it up before pasting.

Ironically within a minute of posting this I received the "Congrats, your order has shipped" email from ATT with instructions on how to activate it and so forth. Tracking number from Fedex still not working.
 
What I'm Hoping Will Happen....

My iphone is showing as shipped, with a tracking number. Yet the number does not work on the ups site. :confused:

The tracking numbers are brand new. You won't see anything until they actually move the package.

What I'm hoping is that everyone that received a tracking # today should see it moving this afternoon. Usually what happens is the pickups start in the afternoon so the packages will get scanned once they leave the AT&T warehouse and arrive at the local FedEx hub. Once scanned there then we should see the packages start moving. So I'm crossing fingers that they get scanned later this afternoon/evening and are Next Day so we can have them tomorrow!!
 
My 64gb White 4S ordered from AT&T has a tracking number now, but like the rest of you guys, it still hasn't gone live yet.
 
Anyone else notice that the black iPhone 4s ships via FedEx while the white ones ship via UPS? I have one of each coming to the house and was suprised to see the different carriers. I assume this is why there has been discrepancies between the white and black iPhone shipping information updates...

My black 32GB has been shipped by UPS.

In the same boat live chat agent claimed that my order is indeed backordered and it will be 21-28 days wtf! Ordered 7 am PST so maybe you guys with white 16 and still showing backorder can list down your times and compare.

ordered a white 16 at 3:30PM eastern in store, still showing backordered :cool:
 
Ordered 64GB Black 4S from AT&T Premier on 10/7 at 8:15am, received initial "AT&T Premier Order Received" e-mail which states "Your iPhone has been reserved and is expected to be delivered on Oct 14, 2011". Phone still showing in backordered status with no tracking number. AT&T reps will commit to nothing. Just wish they were better informed on what was actually going on -- if the delay is just with getting tracking, I'd be fine with that, but not being able to get a solid answer is frustrating.

I know getting the phone after the 14th is not going to be the end of the world, however they shouldn't set the expectation of being able to deliver phones on the 14th when pre-ordering if they can't meet those expectations. Had I known that, I might have opted to pick it up at the Apple store on Friday morning.

Also, my first choice to pre-order was Apple.com, however I was forced to go to AT&T as Apple's site was only giving me Pay-Per-Use and Unlimited as texting options, when I currently am grandfathered in on the $5/200 message plan. Guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed and see what happens. Good luck to everyone else in my boat!

Thats not what the chat rep told me. He said it is backordered per the web page says. I have another black 16 that already shipped. What time did you order?
