AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

White 32GB ordered at 3AM on AT&T Premier Upgrade..

Status is now Processing, but has a Shipping Date of 10/11/2011

Lets go tracking number!

Thanks! Looks like they may have ran out of white 16G by the time I ordered at 7 am PST on the 7th. It seems that way with some others in the same situation. Is it a pain to cancel and have them reset the contract data back? Is that even possible with ATT?

I ordered mine at around 4:30am EST on 10/7. My tracking shows a ship date of 10/9 and is with Fedex. A different order placed for the same kind of phone by a friend around noon of that same day shows a 10/12 shipping date and is with UPS. I wonder if it's possible that the fedex ones were in the original batches that were ordered and are now state side but when AT&T saw such a huge preorder demand they ordered more and those are the UPS ones which are perhaps coming in from China instead?

Adding my data point:

Initial AT&T Premier online order: 7:30AM PST 10/7 (received confirmation email immediately), 64GB Black

Received second confirmation last night (10/11), everything in the email is the same as the first except the Premier order status page now says I ordered on 10/8. Similarly the non-Premier order status page says I ordered on 10/10. My shipping address was different from my billing (billing was a PO Box), I am guessing that is why the order date changed.

Anyways, now when I check the non-Premier order status, it says shipped with a UPS tracking number. The tracking number is not yet in the UPS system. With all of my previous Premier orders my packages came Fedex. Hopefully that it is a UPS shipment is meaningless as I am excited to upgrade my 3G and get my first new phone in 3+ years!

BTW, until yesterday, my order status was "back-ordered".

In addition to my confirmation/shipped e-mail I have received a text from AT&T as well. Anyone else get the text?

You order at 9 am in store and i did with my att rep at 8 am and still not shipped.

When did you notice they were shipped? was it just recently or earlier in the morning? Maybe they're starting to work on the in store orders now

I have that too and the person told me that i didn't accept an agreement until the 9th. I know for a fact that there was no agreement ever sent to me or on the at&t website. I could've sworn that for me it was during the ordering process. Did you have anything to "accept"?

Nope, I read that Premiere orders didn't need a T&C agreement.

I'm in almost the exact same situation. We have a Small Business Account, and my account rep offered to pre-order the phone for me in my local store. I'm living in Phoenix, away from the account's billing address. The only way to have the phone shipped to a different address was to order in-store. My rep said it wouldn't be a problem. My order is still backordered, so I have no clue what's going on.

This is what my rep is telling me now:
"I placed your order on October 7th at 8:30 am. I believe you should receive your device on the 14th if not the 17th."

so still keeping my hope alive...
 
AT&T Phone Order T&C Issue

So I also had the issue with the Terms and Conditions Email confirmation when I placed the order on 10/7 @ 9am PST. Date Ordered online says 10/10 but I have "0" on "Back ordered" it just says In Progress & Pending Shipment.

Does anyone else have this order status?
 
My iphone is showing as shipped, with a tracking number. Yet the number does not work on the ups site. :confused:
