My order has shipped!
I place it on October 7th about 8:12 am EST. Through AT & T website. I never had a problem. I also spoke with a Fedex rep and was Told that I can possibly recieve my order tomorrow. She said my order was super fast, which meant it is two days early. But I will most likely have it tomorrow. She told me to call first thing in the morning and if it is at the dropoff location, near mynhouse, I could even pick it up from there. Yay!
We ship both UPS and Fedex daily (both pickup from our facility). Fedex tracking usually updates within 10 minutes of the pickup occurring. The status will show as PICKED UP. That is when the delivery estimate will update in their system. There is no way for the Fedex rep to know when the delivery date/time will be until after Fedex takes possession of the package. The label can have a ship date of 10/12 (delivery for 10/13) when it was created, but if Fedex doesn't take possession of the package until 10/13, the delivery date will automatically update to 10/14 in their tracking system.
UPS seems to be a lot slower on their tracking updates after pickup. Our pickups normally occur at 4:30PM, and they do not start tracking on their website until after 7PM (at that point the "Picked Up" status shows up with a time stamp of the actual pickup - approx 4:30PM in our case).
