AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

Check moments ago ,My phones are at Memphis Tn, getting shipped fed ex Standard overnite to ny , will be here tommorow by 3pm, placed order 4:30am Friday Pre order day
 
Mine is listed for delivery by end of day tomorrow. Which could mean anytime tomorrow. I've gotten ups deliveries up to 9pm. I hope I see the ups guy today I'll give him the heads up.

The only shred of hope I have are the stories I from last year's iphone 4 pre-orders. People said they received their phones on launch day, and there accounts were still saying backordered quantity 1 -- AFTER they received the phone already lol

i just hope that's our case too.

but even if it is, thanks at&t for making my life hell for the past couple of days

Indeed.
That happened to a lot of people last year, so yes, it may still show backordered while you are opening your new iPhone box tomorrow.

Actually i order over the phone with my ATT business Rep. So he did everything for me. No TC Email nothing. Just got order confirmation email at 8:30 am Oct 7 and second email today morning at 3:15 am that my order is shipped.
 
IF anyone ordered at the store on Oct 7th before 5pm (eastern time)

please let us know if you receive any updates or tracking numbers so we can still have hope.

I ordered two from my local AT&T store on the 7th at about 11:30 AM CST. One 16gb white, One 64gb white. I haven't seen any movement on mine either. This kinda sucks, Oh well...

From the fiasco that was the pre-orders, I'd not go to sleep tonight and get in line around midnight or so. My buddy (coming over from Android) waited to preorder. I told him over and over again to order EARLY on Friday morning and he didn't listen. He went to Verzion store at 10am Saturday morning and they told him 14-21 days. I was actually considering canceling my pre-order and camping out (which ive done for every launch) if their were any problems with my order. I HATE pre-ordering just because of all the problems and chaos. I'd MUCH rather stand in line and wait. It's actually a great time. But since they offered no "pre order with in store pick up" I actually took the chance and pre-ordered through At&t at about 3:50am Friday morning. I have my tracking and all is good. I just won't feel totally comfortable until fedex shows up at my door.

i was able to pre-order in an ATT store on 10/7 and am able to pick my phone up there tomorrow. I have a tracking number and all. Some stores do let you.
 
AT&T iphone 4s Pre-Order Status Thread

I just checked my order and it says Initiated for pick up and is scheduled to be delivered on the 14th.

I will check throughout the day as it sometimes takes them a while to update their system.

When I got my iphone 4 it was shipped on Wednesday and I had it Thursday

Good Question! Or that the status has changed from Backordered to ship?

Ive pretty much stopped checking the order status page today. I checked it like a million times yesterday and was disappointed every time. So im just gonna try not to think about it today and hope that we're in the same boat as people last year who received their phones and their status still said backorder.

Same for me. Giving my current iPhone 4 to my wife who has an older SIM and using the 4s myself.

Unless the SIM card (size) changes between iPhone 4 and 4s, I plan to remove the SIM that comes with the 4s and replace it with the one from my current iPhone 4. That should get the 4s up and running.

Then, I'll put the new SIM that comes with the 4s in the iPhone 4 and have AT&T activate that SIM (transfer from the old SIM my wife was using).

When I got the iPhone 4 I had to move from the old, larger SIM to the new one that comes with the iPhone 4 and if I remember correctly this can be done online (AT&T's website) by typing in the numbers printed on the two SIMS to make the switch. It's also an option to call AT&T for help but I expect they will be crazy busy on launch day. AT&T can make the switch to your account to change SIMS in a few seconds over the phone if you can get through to them.

I ordered at an ATT store on 10/7. Early in the morning. I currently have a tracking number. FEDEX says my phone will be delivered to the store(yes they let me pick it up from there) tomorrow by 3:00pm.

Lucky you, I got TC email Saturday it didn't go through until Sunday. My aunt order at 8am Mountian time and I can't even check on the order status online get an error message all the time

I ordered mine at 9pm on the 7th and my phone is now sitting in KY...:)
 
I received an email from ATT saying that my phone (Black 64GB) is shipping and it finally showed up on Fedex but shows overnight shipping today to be delivered tomorrow by 3PM.

Not according to them. They said neither a note nor a hold would be honored at the request of AT&T. They would hold but only AFTER an initial attempt. Most UPS centers aren't open on Saturdays which is a massive bummer. I am trying to get more information from a supervisor.

When did you get your tracking number?
 
I order via At&t Premier on 10/7 at 6:30pm EST (after the so claimed 4:00pm deadline). The Premier site is still saying it's only pre-ordered, but today the regular At&t site is updated with FedEx tracking. It shipped yesterday and is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow by 3:00pm.
 
Hang on, beyotches! My back ordered column just went to 0..... No tracking number yet though.

/this is really silly to be so damn interested in when the thing ships.
