Plan? Apparently you haven't been reading this post at all. There are people who ordered by Internet on time and still no phone. There are people that ordered in store and no phone. And there are people who called and ordered; still no phone. So to all you conspiracy theory people: if it really were done on purpose, why aren't there any articles about it on ANY of the blogs or news sites? Because its NOT a conspiracy, it wasn't planned, they just messed up; again. As I have stated before, I just want to track my order. Even if I were to see 'pending' that would be better than seeing nothing. The fact that many of us can't even view our status is more evidence against your theory. Sorry, I just don't buy it.

Listen man, i ordered on the 10/7 in store and as of today, my status is still pending and back ordered.
This post is bad at&t post, and from what i see, you think im supporting at&t? i think you have to read again my friend.
read the post above that someone order online on the 15th and the phone will ship on 17th. through at&t website.

They apparently have NO RESPONSE on store-preorder what so ever.
First come first basis, yea.. F that.

You absolutely CAN cancel. How do I know? BECAUSE I DID.

I ordered at 10am on the 7th in store. After spending a week on this forum and constantly checking my status, I knew I was not getting my phone on launch day. When the 14th came, my status was still on backorder so I called the ATT store that I pre-ordered from. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that as long as my order has not shipped, and I had my receipt, they could cancel my order. I took a chance and asked if they happened to have any in stock, and she told me they did. I rushed over to the ATT store (at 11am mind you), cancelled my order, and the lady brought my brand new 16g iPhone 4S. I even asked if I could get a 32g white instead, and luckily they had one of them in stock to, so I got it.

I am not sure how this all works ordering through the website or the phone, but you absolutely can cancel your pre-order as long as it hasn't shipped yet.

I'm patiently waiting. Thank you for your post and i know many many many other people have did cancellation and got their phone.
I'm still waiting... but you know what.... today, i think i will do it AGAIN, last time i was told cannot, but for a 2nd time.. im going to give it a shot. will update you my friend, and thanks for reminding me. again, and again

Try emailing these people:CareFollowUp@att.com
They are willing to cancel my order, but my eligibility is 11/25, so if they cancel the order, I have to come up with the $250. That's why I'm waiting for this order. I just want to tack it. I ordered by phone last Saturday via a manager.

----------

They sent me a text: your order is currently in progress...right...

Pretty much all orders from my At&t store haven't been shipped. I see a bunch of people who ordered in-store on the 7th who still show backordered. *you can check other order statuses by entering an order number and guessing a nearby zip. shhhhhhhh. For example: my order number is 205. I check order ~150---> ordered on 7th--->still on backorder. I am guessing everyone's ship window depends on the demand at each individual store. Although, I'm not sure, just guessing. Hopefully we see a order-status refresh at midnight. :)

Good thinking, I hadn't thought of that I was just checking my number. I just did this and found out that only 3 people before me preordered an iphone. The 3 people ahead of me have had theirs ship already, but they weren't in order; 1st 10/16, 2nd 10/13, 3rd 10/10. I'm the next that hasn't shipped. The person after me hasn't either, but if there are a lot more who knows how they're handling them. I'm hoping I'm in the next batch they send out.

Everyone here is angry at ATT for screwing this up. They didn't screw anything up. Do you guys and galls really think that they didn't expect this to happen? They knew exactly what was going to happen. I've personally met a few Executive VP's who work for ATT West Coast and its just corporate greed. Nothing else. As others have said, they took your money a week early for a promise to get you the phone, they knew you werent going to get it. They have release Iphone's many times before. This wasn't the much anticipated iPhone 5 so they knew their demand in all areas of the country very well based on previous launches. They decided to have the pre-orders wait a few weeks for their phone, so that people can walk in and buy a phone. Thats why they won't let you cancel the pre-order. Some parts of the country are allowing this to happen because the Regional VP's are fed up themselves with the ********.

Your argument may make sense on the surface, but (and I can't believe I'm defending AT&T), they did not take "your money a week early", at least they didn't take mine. I have not been charged yet. They've said all along they would charge when they ship.

While I am miffed that I am on backorder after ordering at 1:45 am Pacific through AT&T's website (because the Apple to AT&T link didn't work again for the 3rd year in a row) because my bank wouldn't initially allow the charge, I do have my iPhone 4 in the meantime, and rather than go through the gyrations of canceling only to jockey around town trying to pickup the iPhone I really want (white in 64GB), I think I'll just wait until the order processes in a couple of weeks.

Out of the pages on this thread, I've read every single one from page 100 to now. I pre-ordered my Iphone on the 10th in store during lunch. I have never owned an Iphone before, I'm still using a phone so old, it has the Cingular logo on it. I wish they were still around. My store rep, very nice guy, told me I should expect my phone by today. Still in backorder hell.

ATT is managed by a few VP's for each region in the country. When you call their support, you may get transferred to another region with other policies, thats why you always get different answers. When I call Comcast for support, I always get the exact same answers because they are scripted.

Don't get me wrong, I hate ATT right now, (The upper upper management) with the passion of a thousand suns. Everyone getting mad at the store managers and reps and phone people are not wrong for getting mad, just getting mad at the wrong people. They are just ATT's pawns that do as they are told.

If it was my company, I would have made damn sure, everyone who ordered their phone before the 14th, even on the 13th before noon, would get their damn phones Friday. I would go as far as renting Uhaul trucks and sending out Corporate officers to hand deliver iPhones to the people who gave their money and trust to ATT and even took days off work to wait for something that would never come.

That being said. STOP getting angry. Life is seriously too short to spend it feeling or being or doing anything that you don't want to do. Your phone will ARRIVE. It will. Stop refreshing the ATT order status page. It will come. I've been waiting the past few years to touch an Iphone. I thought I couldn't wait. Its just a phone. If our attachment to a device is so great, what is left for us in life? Steve's vision wasn't to get people addicted to a device, to give up thinking and a huge part of our brain function because we have an Iphone. Especially not to get angry, really angry over an intentional corporate decision. Steve wanted to make a device to make your life easier, and less complex. He has done that. Now wait for the damn phone. Go on with your life, most people here already have an Iphone.... and when the phone comes, feel the difference Steve created.

One more thing about ATT- They made this decision because the board said one simple thing- "Because we can". They need us. They can't live without us. We are the 99% but without them, we don't have phone service, so we must obey. Thats why they did this to us. Only thing we can do is drive them out of business and abolish ATT, or everyone on this forum to sign a petition or make a (ONE VIDEO) viral Youtube video that will get millions of views, potentially from the media to cover the story nationally so that ATT will give us who have been deceived some type of compensation. Again, if it was my Company and this happened unintentionally, I would let you walk into the store, log in to ATT order status, and if you order still showed backordered, I would let you walk out with the same Iphone you already bought. If the store didn't have the same model, I'd upgrade you. Its just the right thing to do.

That was my first and probably longest post on this entire forum (Made an account to write this) Had to get this off my mind... Sorry for any grammar or misspellings, I don't want to scroll up to sell all the underline red :)

Oh, and to all (I mean most) those people who post saying they are very happy with ATT. Come on now, we know you work for them in the PR department. Just stop lying to us, tell us the truth, compensate us for deceiving us, and give us our phones. We are, and we will continue paying you money each and every month....

Very well thought out post and I agree.

My update after chat via Premier chat.

I had ordered 11/7 around 8 pm AK time, which would be 11/8 on the East coast. He proceed to say they did not recieve the order til the 12th. I said I got a email the same evening I ordered. Then he looked again and apologized for reading the information incorrect and advise me to call the Premier customer service line. So it has been shipped but there is no tracking information available... Which seems strange.

I am going to be calling the Premier CSR line here next. Just had to vent that these guys don't have it all together. :(

Me: So when can I expect it to be shipped?
James Z.: As I have checked, we receive your order on October 12, 2011. Did you receive an email with the expected date when you will be able to receive the device?
James Z.: *received
ME : That is FALSE!! I got a email saying the order was recieved on the 8th!!!!
James Z.: I apologize for the confusion. Yes, that is correct. We received your order last October 8th.
ME : So why can't you tell me when I can expect it?
James Z.: The device will be shipped on October 15 and the expected day of delivery will be after 14 to 21 days.
ME: Why does it take 14 to 21 days AFTER??? If its shipped on the 15th?? I don't understand?
James Z.: I really apologize if I cannot give specific date of arrival of the device. The delivery will depend on the location and unexpected weather conditions. The order was based on first come first serve also. The order for the new iPhone was overwhelming for the last few weeks.
ME : Thank you I will be calling the Premier teleco line for more information. Thank you for your services and time. God Bless!

I think it would be fun tape the most ridiculous explanation of the day of the day and post it.

I think it would be fun tape the most ridiculous explanation of the day of the day and post it.

Yeah really. And how about the outright lies?
'I ordered on the 7th and my pre-order hasn't shipped either.'

Or yesterday's lie:
'All the pre-orders will be shipped out at midnight tonight.'

Your argument may make sense on the surface, but (and I can't believe I'm defending AT&T), they did not take "your money a week early", at least they didn't take mine. I have not been charged yet. They've said all along they would charge when they ship.

You're talking semantics. Alex is exactly right. They locked the pre-order in-store customers into their contracts and had their credit cards swiped and ready to charge as soon as it ships. Then intentionally put us all at the back of the line so they could sell their iphone allotment to others. These carriers are competing with each other and Apple to rack up sales and lock people into contracts. Once they get you to sign the bottom line, their incentive to actually give you a phone is no longer there. It's like paying a contractor 100% upfront for a job. Chances are he will put you at the bottom of the priority list. Apologies to the contractors on here if you don't operate in that fashion, but you know what I'm talking about.
Personally, I'm still back ordered from my Oct. 7th at 12 PM in-store pre-order. I was promised contact by an AT&T rep to resolve my "problem" by the end of the business day today. Not holding my breath. I started emailing last Thursday ( handwriting was on the wall if you were on this thread then) and it's taken this long ( three back and forth emails where they at first told me all the pre-orders were treated the same) just to get that promise. Store refused to cancel the order ( Westfield NJ store- stay away folks!). I'll report if I hear anything from them.

I also don't like the fact that they are playing with the order dates and not giving us credit for when we actually placed an order.

By the way, I was also promised that it was on a truck a few days ago. AT&T has lost credibility and nothing they say can be trusted. This needs to be documented every way possible

Wow, that is the longest bit of conspiracy theory I've read yet on this forum post. Please try to get a grip and come back to reality. What possible gain would they expect to get by doing what you are saying?

Most mature, well-thought out, evidenced post I've ever seen on these forums. EVER.:)

Evidenced? That post was filled with conjecture and conspiracy theories. There wasn't one bit of evidence.

Glad you got lucky. As you can see, many of us did not. Your local store may rock your socks, but the company as a whole has really dropped the ball on this one.

This is the biggest load of bull. The company as a whole DELIVERED hundreds of thousands of devices. They also activated them without issue on delivery day. Not everyone got their device but you guys have to realize you are not the majority at this point. Just because most people posting to a forum NOW agree with you does not mean much at all.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

I certainly don't work for AT&T and am not in their PR. But I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience with them. Sure they haven't always gotten things right on the first try, but they are always willing to go back and fix it. The other 10 people I know Have AT&T are the same way. Would I rather not dish out $259 each month to them? Of course not. But they have taken care of me well beyond any other previous wireless carrier I have had. This was my second iPhone launch preorder and it went as promised.

So is it 80% of people have their phones and only the 20% that seem to fill up this forum with complaints? Probably. Not many people like to come back and post something positive.

Bottom line is look at the big picture and think if the grass is really greener on the other side. For me, I know it is not.

Agreed.

It's nothing wrong with the rep, or even the store.
It's the allocation/distribution of the iPhone. Just like that gentleman mentioned (the long post), they knew it so they put you at the end of the line from the beginning.

For those who got their phone. You just happens to be in the right distribution PLAN that they planned. (apple store, att online order etc)
For us who order from the store we just happens to be in the Wrong distribution PLAN that they planned. (store orders)

There are loyal customer treated right because they through the right distribution plan
There are also loyal customer who got screw by pre-order through store.

There are new customer who feels good because they got into the right distribution
there are new customer who feels they got screw (me) because they got into the wrong distribution

It's not the matter of 80% happy or 20% not, it's 80% of the people happens to jumped into the right at&t PLAN, ordered the phone through the right distribution channel

The truth is 80% of their customer ordered through the right distribution channel
and 20% of their customer ordered through the wrong distribution channel.

Apple has it's own distribution channel different than all the other carriers, so it's not Apple's fault. If you order today through Apple, you will get it AS PROMISED ON WEBSITE 1-2 weeks. ON TIME

Does anyone knows their distribution plan before head? (sales rep, managers, CSR)? NO ONE BUT THE HIGHT EXECUTIVES!!
And ultimately who planned the distribution/allocation plan?? at&t.

WRONG again. I ordred my phone IN STORE and I received it on the 14th in the morning. You people need to read this entire thread and really stop making up stories. You can not take what happened to you and two or three other people and extrapolate that as evidence that EVERYONE in your situation had the same thing happen to them.

I'm really sorry to those that do not have their phones yet. I really am. But please stop calling those of us that did liars and making up crap.

Just got off the telephone with Premier CSR

Well, I just got off the telephone with a CSR and he out right told me to disregard the update/ confirn email I received yesterday. I said that my mailing address is incomplete on the email, he said it shows on the computer all the information. I said well I just was following your directions of the email. He said to disregard any emails until you get your tracking information email with in 14-21 days... I am about to give up.
My next step is to call Fedex and see if they have any orders for my address I did that last week when the CSR rep lied to me saying it was on its way. So I called Fedex and they said there was nothing in there computers.

:)

Im right on the same boat my friend.... i'm starting to getting a little impatient... this..is...ridiculous...still backordered...
I am willing to bet that the stooges at the top of this company will see the order #'s and be slapping themselves on the back about what the great job by everyone at AT&T. They will be mostly unaware of the bad blood and widespread loss of credibility AT&T has taken in this debacle. Every one of us who have been inconvenienced and frustrated by their dubious actions have told untold thousands of people to never ever pre-order in-store when a new iphone debuts. That is going to hurt them big time at the next go around and they will all be scratching their heads in corporate wondering why their pre-order #'s are so bad. I'll bet Apple will see their pre-order #'s skyrocket compared to the actual carriers when the iphone 5 comes out. Mark my words.

WOW~ How much money did you get from at&t? apparently the entire store that i ordered form never shipped any store-order out yet, and yes it's confirm by the manager of the store (you said they can be trusted, then they are honest according to your theory). so that's 2 or 3 people? ummmmm i think you need to go back and read the rest of the thread.
i visited more than 1 store and apparently it's more than 2-3 people, and it's not just stories here. You happens to get the phone on a store order and yes, i know more than 1 of you got it. But does it mean that they didn't put us at the end of the line? or simply put you guys to the stock shipment on 14th? i cannot proof what i said, but can you proof and support what you said? before you think about attacking other people's opinion here, start thinking like you're the one who actually didn't received it. Oh, yes you did received the phone, so you don't know how that feels. I'm not attacking you or anything and im glad that you got your phone and im happy for you. But leaving us with no phones while selling stock phones out there like hot cakes itsn't going to cut it.
Do i know their plan? no, do i know their logistics? no, but apparently they didn't do as promised as a first come first serve basis as many of us ordered on the 7th. oh did i mentioned that someone ordered on the 15th already have their phone ship on 17th? let's say he lie, what about those who ordered on the 8th? or what about those who ordered late night on the 7th?

Oh, and btw, leave room for yourself to back up a little bit, don't be so sure of your words.

Very well thought out post and I agree.

I said it before and i have to say it again. Your post should be posted on the home page for now and forever. You are the man. ;)

Here's my story with AT&T:

Pre-ordered white 32GB iPhone 4S on the 7th at around 4:30 am EST. Got an e-mail notification saying my credit card could not be verified around 2pm that day. Called up AT&T to verify information and have order reinstated. Once again received e-mail on the 8th saying credit card was invalid. Once again called up AT&T and used a different credit card, I was promised I wouldn't lose my place in "line."

When I looked up my order using the order number, it showed 2 orders, one canceled on the 7th and another one placed (with the same order #) on the 8th. So much for not losing my place. I have been on back-order ever since.

This past Sunday, I decided to try my luck at the Apple store. There were many people on line waiting to get their phones and I was handed a ticket for a white 32GB iPhone 4S. Knowing that I still had the online pre-order in place, I returned the ticket to the Apple store employee and headed to AT&T to see if there was anything they could do.

Once at AT&T, I asked if they had any iPhones in stock just to try my luck. The clerk indicated he had one last white iPhone left, a 64GB. I asked if they could cancel my pre-order, even though I had done it online and not at the store. After a few phone calls and 2-3 people getting involved, they were able to get my phone upgrade eligibility back and I walked away with a slightly more expensive phone than I had planned on getting (I'm not complaining though).

My advice to those who are still back-ordered, try your luck at your local AT&T stores. If my online pre-order was cancelled, I'm sure yours can be as well.

Really, each of you have told thousands of people? And do you really think AT&T cares if you pre-order through them or Apple? Wow, you'll show them. Oh, and consider your words marked. Mark my words, at the next release of an iPhone AT&T will see another record breaking sales event.

Do you have any idea how many stores AT&T has? You are basing your information on a few stores. The facts are simple. AT&T took AND DELIVERED pre-orders for hundreds of thousands of phones. Apple sold 4 MILLION iPhones in that first weekend. So 4 million people got the iPhone that they wanted, which beats the previous record by MORE THAN DOUBLE. And yet you and others are acting like there is some grand conspiracy to keep people from getting their phones. That is flat out ridiculous. Try stepping back and thinking for a minute. Last year when the iPhone 4 was released they sold 1.7 million in the first weekend. This year they sold 4 million. Try to calm down and realize that if you didn't order at the very beginning or stand in line at a store you might have to wait a bit longer. There is obviously a HUGE demand for this phone.

My favorite part is how you start by asking me how much money I got from AT&T and then halfway through you claim to not be attacking me.

Really, each of you have told thousands of people? And do you really think AT&T cares if you pre-order through them or Apple? Wow, you'll show them. Oh, and consider your words marked. Mark my words, at the next release of an iPhone AT&T will see another record breaking sales event.

I meant that we've told untold thousands of people in total. And I still think they will be hurt in their pre-order in-store numbers next time around.
Why are you even on here if not just as an apologist for AT&T? If you don't think a lot of stores chose to put their in-store pre-order people at the back of the line, you're just not paying attention. What about the fact that if people who pre-ordered in-store put a different # into the order box they see that most of the other people ordering at the same store also didn't get theirs. I'm glad your AT&T store manager did the right thing and used at least some of his allotment to fill orders, but I'm willing to bet he's in the minority of AT&T managers who did that. What is your point, by the way? And why are you attacking everyone who is blasting AT&T for very legitimate reasons? Do you just like to argue, or are you an AT&T plant? You got your phone. Just go away and stop trying to defend AT&T. Alex is very on point with almost everything he has said. So is YoMan. And so am I.

You should start looking at some post up there. Either you're at&t's #1 fan in the world or you're hired by them. Just as the gentleman up there mention, stop lying. And from this point on it makes no sense to speak you again. Let's keep the community posted and update so that people will feel better and also maybe giving 2nd option potentially.
Stop trashing and start caring. As a CSR, your job is to take care of customer even thou sometime they are mad or whatever. That's not how you share in the thread.

you are not doing good for the rest of us here, and if you careless, just leave us alone and wait until we get our phone and we will no longer be mad (maybe). And as a matter of fact, i don't even know why you're here? defending at&t? or make us feel better? or make us feel worst? and make all of us here think that: we are screw because we make it like that?

Anyway, nice talking to you, while you go trash other comment here, i will try to find out solution that can help the community if not bring some good news for them as im one of those who still have it backordered and didn't make complaint over the phone or at the store. ( i respect the store so i didn't cancel the order, i respect the CSR and i didn't go mad and they help me nicely).

Understood. I hope you get it soon. It is amazing though and you will love it when you do get it.

Do you think you'd be more likely to get it from them? Plenty of us already received ours from AT&T. Apple sold 4 million in one weekend. Of course some are still waiting.

its more like I'm just so pissed with att for not telling me in store about the preorder status when apparently they already knew at the time of opening, but fact is i believe its a lie, because i went in right at opening 7 a.m. and i see people who ordered online way later in the day and they got theirs on the 14th, its the way they did the preorders that screwed us.

----------

Out of the pages on this thread, I've read every single one from page 100 to now. I pre-ordered my Iphone on the 10th in store during lunch. I have never owned an Iphone before, I'm still using a phone so old, it has the Cingular logo on it. I wish they were still around. My store rep, very nice guy, told me I should expect my phone by today. Still in backorder hell.

We are, and we will continue paying you money each and every month....

very much agree, they don't care which is why they won't let people cancel preorders because thats more money in their pockets and then ship the phones they do get to the stores knowing those will sell out so they can show huge profits over other carriers in competition with, thats my guess, not sure how the other 2 carriers handled their preorders in store (if they had any)

iPhone 4s 64gb white pre-ordered 10/8 from apple.com
Now in Lantau Island HK with a 10/20 delivery date.

see what i mean about att not handeling the preorders right, ordered after us that ordered in store and still getting it WAY before us.

I pre-ordered at my local AT&T store around Noon EST on the 7th... I'm order #66 for my zip/store. My pre-order receipt and email both say something to this effect:
Thank you for your recent order. Your iPhone will ship in approximately 14 to 21 days*. All orders are processed on a first come, first served basis.

I had also pre-ordered my iPhone 4 from the same store late the first day of pre-orders (June 15 2010) and got my iPhone 4 only 9 days later (June 24) so I wasn't expecting issues this time.

As of this post I'm still back-ordered... Hopefully this changes by the 21st, I'd like to think I ordered soon enough to be at the front of the line for the "14 to 21 days".

Either day-1 pre-order demand for the iPhone 4S is much higher than they expected, AT&T has less inventory this time, or they've changed how they're fulfilling orders this time...

Agreed, just completely ignore frankly and don't respond from this post onward, no matter what he posts. What ever his deal is, he's just goading and arguing rather than being helpful at this point.
The fact that AT&T created a separate back order list (that has not yet been filled) with a very large segment of the in-store pre-order customers isn't even debatable. Also, a number of Verizon customers who in-store pre-ordered were also back ordered while they sold phones in-store. My office colleagues daughter is one (ordered 10/7, still back ordered), and a friend who walked in on 10/7 at 5 PM and bought one had an irate customer next to him who was not being allowed to cancel his back order and buy one at the counter. So it's not exclusively AT&T. But it doesn't make the conduct any less reprehensible from a customer service vantage.

I meant that we've told untold thousands of people in total. And I still think they will be hurt in their pre-order in-store numbers next time around.

You guys are unbelievable. So you only want one side of the story so that you can all wallow in misery together and justify your BS further that everyone is mad at AT&T because most orders were messed up, etc. etc.

Let me clear something else up. I ORDERED in store but my order was DELIVERED to my house by FedEx. If you ordered in store and had it delivered in store and the manager of your store received stock and gave it to new customers before pre-orders then you have an unethical manager and I feel for you. But this idea that you want to keep acting like this is the norm is getting ridiculous. Especially when you are asking anyone with an opposite experience to stop talking. You are proving my point that you want to ignore any evidence to the contrary.

I've been reading this post SINCE THE BEGINNING. I didn't come in after page 200 or whatever like many of you seem to have. If you had been reading since the beginning like me you would have seen page after page of people with FedEx and UPS tracking numbers that have already received their phones. Most people that have received them don't come back here so you are left with only the people that haven't. Count how many are posting in here that haven't received them. There aren't that many. I've done Google searches looking for widespread evidence of what you all have been experiencing and it just isn't there. Did you get screwed? Perhaps. But you need to stop acting like you're in the majority. You are not.

I also love how just because my experience doesn't match yours that you immediately attempt to discredit me as someone that is getting paid. Go back and look at my posts before you all started posting all of this weird negative junk and you will see just regular posts about the status of my order changing and my order being delivered as expected.

You all need to get a grip and stop calling names. I'm sorry you don't have your phone yet but you need to stop being nasty to those of us that have received ours.

This is just funny now. I'm not trying to be helpful to you because you wouldn't believe anything contrary to what you've said anyway. I'm trying to be helpful to others that might be reading this thread so that they know that all of this griping isn't the only thing that is reality.

I'll let you all get back to crying on each other's shoulders and making up grand conspiracy theories about how the AT&T execs hate you all now though since that is the only thing you seem to want to do.

I was going to say i don't want to post reply to you and i will after this one, just for the sake of defending people who already got their phone. (just to clear out, i have backordered status as of today and i ordered form store 10/7)

you are going wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy tooooooooooooooooooo far man, no body hate those who got their phone and im positive that those of us who didn't received our phone did not HATE those who received it. You're doing too much harm the community. you've acrossed the line.

JUST IGNORE POST FROM "FRANKLY"
Those who got their phone: Congrats! You guys will be happy with the best iPhone ever
Those who did not get it, keep posted and keep inform.

My iPhone 4S pre-order is to be shipped to my work directly, not the AT&T store... Same as my iPhone 4 in June 2010. I'm still back ordered.

I don't think local stores factor into this... AT&T corporate may be pushing in-store inventory ahead of pre-orders though.
