Sorry for sounding mean, but what's the title of this thread?

AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-order Status Thread.

Not Apple, Not Verizon, but AT&T.

Basically I was calling to complain about how the $18 upgrade fee had appeared in my account but that it's ridiculous I get charged for a phone I still don't have. Anyway, long story short, the guy fed me some story about how the warehouses have been receiving shipments this week, and that on Friday my order status should be changed as I should be one of the first shipments sent out with the new stock (I ordered a 16gb white on 10/8 at 10 am over the phone). My estimated time has been given as between 10/24 and 10/30. Oh, and he told me something about how I should have been told at the time of ordering that I should expect a 14-21 day wait, and I know for sure I was not told that.

Did you tell him he was full of *****? I'm fed up with their lies. 2 days ago they were saying all backorders would ship at midnight. It NEVER happened.

Another rep says her 10/7 pre-order never shipped either. Yeah right.

14-21 days? Try again. I have called every day this week and twice today the time estimate is 21+ days. And I, for sure WAS told 14-21 days.

And I also cannot track my order on the website.

They cancelled twice for me, first was on Sat cause I couldn't wait for the 16gb grab the 32gb they had at the AT&T then Monday. Wish I can tell you how I did it or what to say, GOOD LUCK and hope you get yours soon.

I can track it, says back ordered since day 1. (Order placed October 7) The weird thing is, when i log into the account connected to my mobile number, I click "My Orders", nothing comes up. But when i just do my mobile number and my zip code, it comes up with back ordered.
 
my order number begins XW*******

ordered on 10/7 at 1:30pm att in-store, email confirmation at 3:59pm 10/7.

no change - backordered still.

Mine is xfs....... And I ordered 10/7 at 545 pm Ohio time (est) and just looked as of 826 pm Still back ordered lesson learned NEVER pre order out of AT&T I am just going to wait and see if Santa Claus will put it in my stocking Dec 25.
 
A friend of mine pre-ordered the original iphone 4 on June 2010. His order status is still "In Progress" and 1 backordered. When he called they told him that it will be shipped in 14-21 days.....

Yeah. what time did you order? I ordered late on the 7th in-store. They didn't tell me 14 to 21 days when I ordered, so the manager gave me a free month of service. Which was nice, but still doesn't put an iphone in my hand.
 
GUYS!! IT'S MOVING!! STORE ORDERS ARE MOVING!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright guys listen up: I ordered mine in store 10/7 4pm afternoon and i got a 3 digit order number and up until this minute, my order is still back order 1.

BUT!!!!! i checked the same store pre-ordered (i just type every one of those number behind my order example mine 100, i check 99,. 98, 89, 76, 45 etc), and i've seen there are many orders already have tracking number!!!

this means today or tomorrow or no later than friday guys!! we will receive our new iPhone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is true true true!!! i will update mine once is on, giving my order is afternoon, im not expecting any changes tonight but tomorrow. Good luck guys, and good luck to me too.

I ordered around 2:30PM, and I was told 14-21 days, then pulled to the side and told quietly that it will "Probably arrive a few days earlier, don't worry."

Just got off the phone with the store. They aren't doing anything besides saying "Just wait the 14-21 days. If you don't have it then, THEN call us." Wtf you think that me waiting this long is normal? Tons of people are getting moved along the line of being served, and I don't even know where I stand. This is no problem at AT&T it seems, just stupid. :mad:

Stop getting peoples' hopes up. If it doesn't happen they'll be disappointed and not too happy with you.
 
For those guys who's been staying here since the 1st post and ordered from store!! updates updates!! I feel like a little kid now wtf~

read my post up there, sit tight! Your order is moving and according to tracking information of the morning store order here, it will be on customer's hand this friday.

My order number starts with XYA.... In-store, 10/7, around 6ish Eastern time. Still "In Progress" "Backorder 1" "Pending shipment." And recent-ish search of all orders with store's phone number as "work number" and store ZIP shows all deliver-to-store preorders are back-ordered like mine. Try it with your store's phone number and ZIP.

Believe me, I want you to be right, but it goes against everything I have read in this post since day 1 and everything I have heard from email, stores, and people on the phone from AT&T.

Fingers crossed for you. I WANT you to be right!

Up to this point any news would help. If it wasn't for the previous gentleman that i forgot his name from the last page that told me that his order just went from backorder1 to backorder0, and i felt happy by reading that and then i start tracking my order and the store order.

If you don't believe me, just ignore me, but once you get your info update.
I've been posting on this almost 300+ page thread since the beginning and people here know me and we all posting updates that would potentially help.

Do you think posting something from the at&t CSR about complaining and nonsense would benefit the community more than giving them a news that STORE ORDERS ARE NOW SHIPPING OUT?!?!?

Check your status tomorrow and Friday if you ordered on the 7th in store and you will see what i mean.
you should be happy and not looking into negative side! Dont' be so negative, i have my hopes up and like a little kid cannot sleep well, and staying with you guys here makes me feel better, and don't you ever try to say that im doing bad for this community. I could careless staying away or post ANY POSSIBLE news to this community!!

Sorry if im being a little emotional but i happens to have the store's order number in my hand... and i've checked them all...
and yes, they are all store orders and yes, some of them have tracking and some of them have backorder 0.

Yes, i could be wrong, yes, yes yes...
But according to watching all these order numbers for the past week, im pretty sure i got it... fingers crossed.
