I've got the same thing happening. Ordered on 10/7 in store, last night it went from backordered to processing. Now it won't let me check it and has even said "no order found" once. I will flip out if my order got lost. UGHH

Getting the same notice.. maybe their system is down or messing up. Everyone relax i'm sure they did not lose all of our orders.. at least not if they are a real company at this point and not people standing around shrugging their shoulders. :confused:

I expect this problem getting order status is just AT&T doing routine system work. It will probably be back online showing us "Backordered" in a few hours.
 
^this, it's probably just a temporary system hiccup, nothing more... unless they got 5,000,000,000 iPhone shipment today... and are updating everyone's at once... lol

Yep, glitch passed, still backordered. Ordered on the 11th of October. Boo.

Well I ordered on the 16th lulz, I'm just hoping I see it before the middle of next month.
But I know good things come to those who wait....:D
 
I'm ignorant because I felt anger towards the fact that I payed for and "pre ordered" my phone on the 7th, and have yet to hear ANY NEWS WHAT SO EVER about it while all these people who could probably give a flying finkle crap less about what they're buying can just walk in and buy it like it's just what everyone is doing? This phone is a late graduation present from my mom and girlfriend and it's starting to look more and more like a christmas present every week that goes by. You don't know my situation, Frankly. You don't know what this means to me.

This is the first gift that my girlfriend is buying for me that is a decent amount of money, she fought me to buy this for me and when i finally let her, AT&T wants to pull this crap. I can't even get it?! But all of these people who could have possibly just read "New iPhone is Selling" in the news and thought "New iphone huh? I think I'll go buy one today." can go get one NO PROBLEM? Do me a favor, and don't say anything to or about me unless it's positive because you may have gotten your phone no problem and AT&T must be great for you right now but thats not the case for me and some other people on here.

Matter of fact, what are you even still doing here? Your phone is in your hands, you are done with pre orders. GTFO of here and go post in another thread, or do you have nothing better to do but come in here and talk about frustrated people and their anger? I've been following this thread since the 14th to figure out where i stand in line for my phone. AT&T states I cannot cancel my order even though they have no idea when it will ship. AT&T even acknowledged that those who ordered the phone by calling their customer service number or on the internet web site can actually cancel their order (error i the computer program that takes preorders to not allow cancelations of those who ordered in person at a store). Note: It is unethical and ILLEGAL for a company to prevent a customer from canceling an order that has not yet shipped (and the order is taking longer than originally promised by the sales person). This in essence legally binds the customer to the company through an extended 2 year contract without having received the new product. This also prevents the customer from switching wireless carriers if the customer is dissatisfied with the original wireless carrier's service.

I have since complained to the manager at AT&T call center, Better Business Bureau, FCC, California State Attorney General's office, and the CEO of AT&T. Filing a complaint with the BBB, FCC, and California State Attorney General's office only takes 5-10 minutes TOTAL.

I urge you to consider taking action in addition to venting on this forum.

I cannot join in on the fun though. When I ordered, they told me straight up that it would be 21-28 days (ordered on the 12th though).

I've seen you on BB.com haven't I? ;) Anyways, I ordered on 10/8 as soon as the store opened and I'm still on backorder. I was told between 14-21 days. I'm on day 15 now.

For those of you that have tracking numbers... How long did it take to go from "backordered" to "Processing" to "shipped"?

I pre-ordered on 10/7 about 5pm CST in store and on Friday the 21st about 9pm my status changed from "backordered" to "processing" .

I was hoping to have a tracking number by now, but it's still just "processing". I was just curious when I should expect a tracking number to show up.

im just guessing but probably monday...USPS or FEDEX doesnt ship out on weekends...they just work on whats already in house. Well at least thats the way DHL did it when i worked there.

My status changed at 11:00 pm cst Friday night and tracking numbers showed up Sat at 3:00 pm cst .... By 5:00 pm sat I had my email saying it had shipped.
