how do you do you that when i put my info in it says not eligible for upgrade. (because i have one in back order limbo?) how do i see if my store has them?

The good news is that her white 16GB purchased first thing in the AM at a local west coast store has finally shipped. It came off backorder on Friday around 7:30 pm PST and I finally got the shipping email at 6:14 tonight for a Wednesday delivery. There is hope!

I was encouraged by all the order movement over the last few days. Just checked my store cumulative order status and there are about 90-100 order numbers before mine and phones from 10/07 still haven't shipped. Looks like it's going to be the full 21-28 day wait for me.

I'll spare everyone the spreadsheet list, but looks like my store breaks down to 65% 16gb, 25% 32gb, 10% 64gb. (80% are all black models)

I sure hope my iPhone gets here this week. I am going to a Foo Fighters concert in Sacramento and I want to test out the camera when I'm there. I doubt I will get it before the end of October though. I ordered on the 10th and my local At&t store has only shipped about 15 phones since the 14th Booooooo. Oh well.

Two 16Gb blk went from backordrer 1 to backorder zero overnight. Ordered in AT&T store in Niskayuna, NY at around 6 p.m. Eastern time on October 7th. Delivery on/by Friday will mean AT&T kept their promise to deliver in approximately 14-21 days.

So 2 of the 16 GB black were removed from backorder but not shipped. 1 of the 32 GB black shipped. All of the 10/7 orders have now seen some sort of "action", apart from the 32 GB whites.

LMAO, if u read my post a few pages back I cancelled my phone order and picked up my phone at the store. Today I received notice that my phone is ship for delivery tomorrow. I'm wondering if I can keep it and they will only charge me the upgrade fee. Anyone has this happen before? Any advice?

This did happen to me once with AT&T and they caught it a couple years ago, although it wasn't an iPhone it was still a smart phone I ended up getting sent two phones for some reason and they just double charged me the upgrade fee which was only about 99$ I think so my family kept both as a back up.

where Did you get this list?? I've pre ordered on the 9th and still on back order... i called A&TT twice and all i got was a 100 credit to my bill...

And now I understand why some customers want compensation for the wait time. Congrats on you getting yours, but it's crazy that some customers who ordered on the 7th are still waiting.

That's the thing, it wouldn't be so bad if this stuff was actually being done first-come-first-served, as it was explained to us, and as it definitely should be. Instead of whatever the heck kind of "order" it actually is, because it obviously ain't first-come-first-served.

I'm not getting too upset with my wait, yet. I ordered in-store on 10/10 and I knew I was in for a wait. I'm OK with that, even though I'm generally an impatient person. I can see (sloooow) progress with the local orders. I'll give them til the 28 day window I was initially quoted passes (11/7), then I'll get upset.

On a side note, somewhat amusing that the similar Verizon and Sprint pre-order threads are only at page 99 and page 46 respectively. We're so much awesomer than them!
