My iPhone just went off backorder to processing ... awaiting shipping info, finally

Shipping info just posted ... delivery tomorrow, Friday, by 3 pm ... good luck to those still waiting, I'll miss our time together ...
 
Looks like its only a few of us that have our orders in still BO. I saw another order placed today and it already off BO. :( Sick of this.
 
Ordered on 11/1 and went from backordered to processing last night. Just waiting on that tracking #. Pumped.

Ordered a 64GB black on 10/16 and got tired of waiting. Cancelled the 64GB this morning and ordered a 32GB black (decided I didn't need a 64GB) on line at AT&T Premier. Status just changed to off of back order. Seems like they are getting more of the 32GB models!
 
16GB White - I'm in mid-Michigan.


That's why, a 16GB white seems to have the most backorders. My sister and I ordered are iPhone's right when pre-orders went up, but she didn't get her 16GB white until the week after. I got mine on October 14th at 5:55pm (UPS took forever). Although I had ordered a 16GB black, I feel that's why it wasn't backordered as much.

That's normal. I think they do this so you can't buy another phone while one is pending...
 
My account says it shipped 11/3/11, yesterday, but it doesn't show a tracking #. I'm confused...
 
Just got my tracking #. It's coming from Texas to PA so it'll be here by the 8th! For the curious, it's a black 32gb.
 
Really wish the white 32gb would be more available. Seems to me the white 32 has the longest backorder times currently.
 
Gives me hope on my new order that was placed yesterday that I might get it next week then!

Originally order (10/18) was canceled after it shipped by ATT so I never received it and had to reorder yesterday.

May I ask why at&t canceled your order? Reason being is that I talked to customer support yesterday trying to find out my order status and she told me anyone that used a debit card to place an order are getting their orders cancelled. That did not sound right to me at all so I went back down to at&t where I ordered the phone and talked to them about it. He said that my order was still pending and all was good. He also said that if the order was really cancelled it wouldn't even show up in their system anymore. He told me that last year they did not except debit, only credit cards but this year they are excepting both. I called the order status number this morning to check my order and it says it's on back order. :mad:Stupid back order:mad: lol.

Nice, I ordered mine yesterday and used my Debit card, and it was already charged. Hope mine doesn't get cancelled.

Hopefully you will get yours soon! At first, my bank showed that the charge was pending, then it showed as cleared. Yesterday the transaction in the at&t store system it showed as pending. It was probably a pre-auth hold or something. Once the money was confirmed it probably dropped off until the phone actually ships out, then the money will be taken out again for good is my guess.

They messed up my account information. Something about they entered the ssn or name wrong when they were processing the new account...Phones had shipped before they realized this and they flagged it as fraud and canceled my order...minutes before fedex was to deliver...

So I called them and they redid the order online even though it was their mistake...and paid with debit card again...

So lets see if they screw up this time
