AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

reserve or go to Apple or Walmart?

After 9pm I try and reserve my 4S but they quickly go out of stock online. Is the rule of thumb the following? If my local Apple store doesn't show stock online after 9pm should I attempt to go to the store early and try and get the model that I want?

Mine has landed at the FedEX depot in Newark. Since I'm in NE PA I'm hoping I'll have mine a day early, tomorrow.

I'm in the same boat. Is there any "best" time/day to go to an Apple retail store to grab an iPhone4S?

PS. Trying to get 3 total, 16GB. 2 Black. 1 White.

well, i had to order through at&t cause they messed up my eligibility date and had to override it.
 
Ok...Ordered over phone...how fast will it ship once it actually ships? Is it overnight or what? If its shipping out of Ft. Worth it will probably only be one day for me anyway as im in Oklahoma
 
On Fedex vehicle for delivery!

Order 32GB Black in a store (in NYC) on 10/24 (original upgrade date was 11/22).

Went off Backorder 11/1

Shipped 11/2 via 2-day Fedex

En route to my house today.


Now just have to have to hope everything is well with device and can sell my iPhone 4.

10 business days from order to delivery after being told 21-28. Not too shabby.

Well it depends. If the apple store near you has available stock aside from those that were reserved then they might be able to sell you one, but they can't sell you the phone that was reserved by someone else (not until 6 PM). So if the apple.com showed "unavailable" on your model, most likely they don't have that model in stock and you will have to wait till after 6 PM.

I reserved mine on 10/20/11 using apple.com/retail/iphone and picked up on 10/21/11 at 8 AM.

Once reserved, you can pick it up the next day anytime from 8 am to 6 pm. If after 6 pm and haven't picked it up, then your reservation will be cancelled and will go to someone else who wants it first come first serve basis and you will have to reserve it again, unless you get lucky that they have one available after 6 pm.
 
I have AT&T currently. I signed on with a Galaxy S 2, decided I didn't liked it and returned it within the 30 days.

Now I still have the number and service with my 3GS. My question is, do I have a contract since I returned the Galaxy S 2? I would like to get the 4S but without paying the $650.
 
So apparently AT&T forgot a number in my shipping address and it shipped this morning. Called Fedex and they said to wait to they figure out its the wrong shipping address and call again tomorrow to schedule a pick up. Hope it works!
 
Ordered a white 16 gb and a black 16 gb on 11/3/11 through AT&T Premier. Both shipped today with scheduled delivery for Wednesday!!

That's the day I ordered, but it was a blk 64gb version. Also on premier. I will be out of town all next week. So my guess is they will ship it then. I will be in Lake Placid, and I will drive back for it.
 
I ordered a white iPhone 4s 16 gb on 11/3, it came off backorder 11/4 then shipped 11/5. Should be getting here tomorrow, 11/7 =D

AT&T coming through again!

you should still be eligable for a phone... sign into your account online and check your eligibility date... if it doesn't say you're eligable just go to an at&t store and talk to them
 
My 16GB White 4S is still in processing after 6 days. I ordered from Apple and am about to call them. Est delivery is nov 15-22.

28th. Every order up to mines has a tracking number. Well, theres this 64GB that is still BO from the 19th. Its weird. Its like everything stopped all of a sudden.
