AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

Order still Processing

I ordered my iphone 4s at 1.15am on the 7th October and received confirmation shortly afterwards. No update since last message from At&t over 24 hours ago
"We have processed your order and it has been sent to our warehouse for shipment".
And still no tracking info
I see orders placed hours after mine have already received confirmation
I thought shipping it was on a first come first served basis
Leaving for a business trip at the weekend and only a barely working cracked original iphone so I really hope it does arrive.
 
Yeah, I had the pending charge removed... but other than that, not much to say. I think we will start seeing orders go out, at the very earliest, tomorrow afternoon.
 
Does anyone know the step after "Pending Shipment"?
Also when would I be receiving the phone?

I ordered mine 4s 16blk on Friday 6:45 pm central. I just got my acceptane of terms email at 6:45 tonight monday and verifiyed it atfer work at 11:00 pm central today monday night. I was jus sent an email saying it on back order n could take 21-29 days to ship. How long where u on bAck order?
 
I ordered on 10/7 but these idiots barely sent me the T&C email today so it says I ordered on 10/10. If I end up waiting 3 damn weeks I will be pissed! The whole point of pre ordering is to avoid this.
 
Anyone else get 3 emails from AT&T confirming the order has been processed. I ordered on 10/7 0100am pt and got the order confirmation email at 0130am pt. At 0351am on 10/7 I got the first email saying it was processed and sent to warehouse for shipping followed by the same at 0600am. On 10/8 at 0600 am pt I got a third email saying it was processed and sent to warehouse for shipping. All emails have the same order #. My bank has a hold for the money pending till 10/13. Order status is pending shipping with order date of 10/7. Also I live in California and no tracking #

I have the same thing as you minus the bank holding the money as pending for a later date. The money came out on the same day as I ordered. Hopefully this will ship for delivery on the 14th. My boss pre ordered his at 6:00 am EST and his expected ship date is the 21st. He is on verizon though.

The step after In Progress/Pending Shipment should be Shipped with the Tracking number reported in the far right column.

Overnight last night, my order updated with Shipped and a FedEx tracking number for the screen protector that I ordered along with the new phone.

Still waiting on shipment notification for the phone itself, but at least I know AT&T is actually processing my order (I had a problem with the initial authorization being rejected by my credit card because of a fraud warning on the account).

So my iPhone 4S has shipped and will be delivered Friday - but I will be at work. I live in an apartment complex so I will not be able to sign for it.

I know apple lets you pre sign - but I don't want them leaving it in the mail room either.

Any suggestion?
 
Ordered two iPhones (64GB black & 32GB white) through Apple.com. Apple Store still says preparing for shipment, but the Track by Reference trick worked on the UPS site. My iPhones have shipped and are still in China but scheduled to be delivered Friday.

They had issues charging my credit card, called a couple of times, now it shows my original order as pending with issues and there is a new order for 10/10 showing backordered, if I have to wait 3 weeks due to their screwups I'm gonna be pissed I have to ship my phone back to gazelle.
 
Ok folks I have little news but good!!! Went to bed 3 hours ago on back order and just woke up to a surprise :)

My two seperate att.com orders each for one- 16GB White 4GS Friday 4:30AM central. Confirm email 1 for each few minutes after the orders placed still no other emails yet, but my order status for both have changed from back order to processing within the past 3 hours :)

CC still has temp auth for each order.

Ups/fedex phone # reference still nothing found.

I'm just glad my orders have changed from back order to processing within the last 3 hours think I'm in the clear for thurs/fri Delivery :)

I figured it out - go to ups.com - and click on tracking. from there you need to sign up for My UPS - wait 90 minutes - and then you can go in there and change the address to any other address or to be held at the UPS plant.

I will pick mine up at the UPS store on friday.
 
This Morning Again I Say Relax

AT&T is probably shipping from China but many of them will likely show up shipping statements when they reach the States. If the iPhones are somewhere in the United States, it will only take 2 days to get to your door. The reason no shipping numbers are out is because they haven't shipped yet!

Why people are listening to CSRs boggles my mind? Conflicting info obviously means they don't really know anything. And I could argue the wording "ships on 10/14" could mean released and delivered. I dont want to parse words but I think people on this thread are way too anxious because trust in AT&T is very low.

Wait until tomorrow, even Thursday. If you don't have a tracking number by Thursday morning, I'd say you'd be right to worry a little. If there's nothing by Thursday night, worry alot. Hey, it could still arrive on Friday despite all that.

they canceled my order!!!

I ordered friday @ 8am via att.com, after being trying since 12:01 am. I finally make the order (32g w). Saturday received the confirmation e-mail. Since then the status was no back-order, until last night around 8pm, the phone becomes back-ordered! Now they have cancel my phone!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:::
