I just came back from speaking with the manager of the AT&T store. He said if you ordered before 5pm PST on Friday, it will ship tomorrow. Another person at the store (not a manager) said it could be up to 3 weeks no matter when you ordered.

I trust the manager more and this just goes to show that a lot of the AT&T people simply have no idea.

(This was my first post to pass on some info).

Just spoke with an AT&T Rep....She informed me that my phones were not scheduled to ship until the 14th, the proceeded to tell me that my phones were still on schedule to be delivered on the 14th. My AT&T status still says "Pending". Needless to say, I am very confused.

The AT&T-ordered units will originate DIRECTLY from your local hub. They will ship from your local hub the morning of the 14th, because the first step in their journey will be YOUR delivery truck.

Simple, no? So why is everyone FREAKING OUT?!?

THIS is the kind of crap response AT&T needs to worry about.

Becuase of responses like the above we get from AT&T. There is so much conflicting and misleading information out there. This is just wrong. Why can't AT&T get a communation plan to all their employees that they all actually deliver in the same manner?

So how is the first stop in the journey the local hub (or truck) , how did they get there by osmosis?

Wow...you are. :p

I may be older IRL. maybe

IRL age doesn't matter!!!1!

BTW in response to your earlier post regarding your commute - I'm totally jealous. For one thing I really want to work downtown so I can take the train. For another thing, although my commute to Las Colinas isn't bad, it's still almost an hour every day round trip.

Yeah, I used to work at the MS offices in Las Colinas (barely on the edge) and the commute wasn't bad going in but coming home could be a bitch!
