Ordered at 1:50 am pst white 16gb iPhone 4s shipped 10/9/2011 so hyped. I knew ordering as soon as the site came up would prove useful! Can't wait to have my 4s maybe even a lil early!! Fed ex is my shipper!!
 
I ordered my 4s before 4am on the 7th. I called at&t today and he said none of the 4s's will be delivered the 14th and to wait 10 business days after the 14th to get them. x_X

If thats the case, which I doubt, there will be A LOT of unhappy customers. No one would have ordered through ATT knowing that. You can probably go into an apple store on the 17th and get a 4S with no problem.

thats one of the funniest/worst comments by a rep ive heard so far.

sometimes i want to tell a rep to document what they say and email me the conversation, just to show ATT how little some of these agents know.

on the flip side, ive dealt with some reps who are wonderful and actually know proper info.
 
For all of you that have spoken to an AT&T Rep, do not take what they say to you as gold. They have no clue as to whats going on. Just like last year, I am sure our phones have shipped and will be delivered this friday. Im sure the site has not been updated as to the status of our orders. If the phone is not here by Friday then I will be extremely pissed off, why else did many of us stay up all freaking night to place this order. I hear some people who ordered the phone through AT&T regular site already got shipping info. If thats the case why have a Premier account. I just hope I am right as to the fact that these phones are already shipped without the site being updated.
 
I ordered two phones within minutes of each other and the 16gb has shipped via fedex and the 64gb is still processing. They were both around 5:00AM on the 10/7.

If I don't receive a tracking number for the 64gb by tonight I'm going to call.
 
My order on the AT&T web site was made around 1.45 AM PST on Day 1 (October 7). Just a few minutes ago the AT&T web site shows "products shipped" on October 9 but the FedEx tracking number does not work.

Your making progress, better then the rest of us. I too ordered on the first day around 8am eastern time. Maybe I will get that update today. I still hold out that every phone we bought no matter the GB will be delivered this Friday.

Just got an email from AT&T saying it will be delivered as early as 10/14/11. Complete crap. Now it's as early as 10/14/11? That could mean any day from then to god knows when.

Contemplating cancellation.

Good luck canceling your order. They wouldn't let me.
 
If mine has no sign of being shipped on Friday, I'm calling my local AT&T stores to see if they have the one I want in stock, if so I'm cancelling this stupid pre-order and just buying it in store. I would have to call to cancel it, correct?
 
To the extent this helps...

I ordered two black iPhone 4s's (both 32GB) on Friday morning from AT&T's website. They were both ordered before 5:00 am Eastern. I did have some issues getting the credit card company to accept the charges (thought it was a fraudulent internet purchase), but that seems to have been worked out Friday morning.

Per AT&T's website, both of the iPhones are shown as having been shipped on October 11. There are FedEx tracking numbers, but FedEx does not have them in the system yet.

I have not received an email confirming/advising of the shipments.

AT&T's system STILL has two iPhones showing up under each order number. One shows shipped and the other shows that they could not process payment.
 
Just got this email from ATT after my order was shipped. Lame...should've received this about three days ago to let me know.

Per the AT&T CSR's I spoke with (take that for what it's worth), you cannot cancel the order once they send it to the warehouse.

That said, does AT&T's 30 day return policy apply to iPhones? Maybe you can return it unopened?

Ordered from AT&T site (Not Premier) on 10/7 at 4:16 am (EST) - 64GB Black

My status updated overnight, and of course the tracking data is not yet in the system for the link to work. I called FedEx and the woman I spoke with said iPhones are being held until the 13th to ship out (batch), and that tracking data would update at that point. She said I should expect mine on Friday the 14th or Monday the 17th at the latest, but that it should be here this week. I really hope she is right about Friday...

More then likely our phones are going to be batched shipped later today, which is why few of us have tracking details. You really think AT&T is going to just drop a few off at a time? I am sure they have trucks sorted and ready to head off to FedEx/UPS today so that they arrive on the 14th.

Of course if these are all in China, well that is another story.
 
I think these are express tracking numbers. If so maybe we will see our phones tomorrow, or maybe today since it says shipped on the 9th. I have received packages before through fedex where the tracking number never worked but still got the package.

For all I know, mine's backordered and not at the warehouse anyways! I guess you could return it unopened, but I ordered the right one...I just have no idea when I'll get it. :rolleyes:

I'm a premier customer that ordered a white 16gb and a black 16gb at 7:30am EDT on Friday. Att.com status updated this morning to show that the black 16g has shipped, fedex number not active yet. I have not received a shipping notification email. Premier status page does not show it as shipped yet. The 16gb white phone shows as backordered on the Att.com status page.
