My order on the AT&T web site was made around 1.45 AM PST on Day 1 (October 7). Just a few minutes ago the AT&T web site shows "products shipped" on October 9 but the FedEx tracking number does not work.

Just got an email from AT&T saying it will be delivered as early as 10/14/11. Complete crap. Now it's as early as 10/14/11? That could mean any day from then to god knows when.

If mine has no sign of being shipped on Friday, I'm calling my local AT&T stores to see if they have the one I want in stock, if so I'm cancelling this stupid pre-order and just buying it in store. I would have to call to cancel it, correct?
Per the AT&T CSR's I spoke with (take that for what it's worth), you cannot cancel the order once they send it to the warehouse.
That said, does AT&T's 30 day return policy apply to iPhones? Maybe you can return it unopened?
