AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

I've now recieved four order confirmation emails from AT&T.
The first arrived Friday at 4:23AM, then a second at 5:05 AM, a third later that day, and the fourth just arrived...

Pending gOne?

i ordered from at&t on friday morning 4:00am eastern, my debit card was pending a 423 charge, i got the 64gig, still pending this morning, then i just checked and my card was not charged and the pending was gone, no trace of anything to at&t, status on att wireless says pending, anyone else have this happen?
 
I think with AT&T DIRECT (not Apple) "Processing," *MIGHT* be better than "Pending Shipment."


Pending shipment seems to be when it still says backordered. I was that for the first couple days.

The last couple days, I have been "processing," seems to be the step AFTER pending shipment/backordered.

"Processing," seems to indicate the order is actually being prepared for shipment. My order was around 1am Pacific, 4am Eastern on Friday morning.

processing is what i was at before pending shipment. Pending shipment is the last step before shipment.
 
One of my orders says "Processing" and the other order is still backordered (in terms of shipment status)

However, the item status on both orders is "Processing"
 
AT&T Premier Status Explanations

This is from the AT&T Premier Site. Pretty straight forward.

In Progress: Our warehouse is still processing this item for shipment.
Canceled: This item has been canceled and will not be shipped.
Partially Shipped: Some of the items have shipped. If an item is on backorder, an amount will appear in the Qty Backordered column.
Shipped: Our warehouse has shipped this item.

I was one of the first people to order through the ATT site when it went live. I know because I was checking it and apple.com constantly and it became available at 12:45A.M. PST. But I'm still stuck on pending shipment and status on the left says in progress.

I hope it doesn't stay like this very long. My best guess is that ATT as opposed to sprint is actually housing their iPhones in an ATT warehouse rather than drop shipping from China. This means we should all see that the iPhones are being shipped by Wednesday at the latest.

Problem is, that doesn't say Processing or Pending Shipment. The two status we get most often on here it seems.

I think "Processing" is what it means, it is processing the order.
Ours display "In Progress". I ordered from the store on Friday around 10:30 AM CST.

The one thing I would like them to fix is to be able to see status of all devices ordered on one screen, instead of having separate orders for the three iPhones I ordered.

Your order is being processed....second time ordering an iPhone from the Apple store which means I'll be up all night in a day or two watching a virtual aircraft make it's laborious way from Hong Kong to Alaska and then to the lower 48. Friday can't come soon enough......:D

Those status messages are under a column called "Tracking Number" The status column is the one to watch, in my opinion

Both were ordered at 5:30am EST on the 7th and confirmation emails stated that they should be delivered on the 14th
 
I still can't find any tracking information. I need to get off the computer too bad it's raining out. I guess I will stay on until it's time to go to work.

Email said "expected to be delivered on 10/14" so I think I got in on their first batch.

which order page are you looking at? the one with the column for 'backorder' with either a 1 or a zero under it, or your wireless acct management page where it just shows a line for shipment status?

Please post a screenshot.
 
My Premier account has a different order # than the regular ATT acount. Is that how it is for everyone?

Premier order status shows pre-ordered; att order page shows ITEM STATUS: processing with SHIPMENT STATUS: BackOrdered
 
I'm a little worried because when I log into my ATT order status page nothing shows up. The only way I can see anything about the order is if I search for my order with my order number. On the page that I can get to, it says "In Progress" under status. Under tracking number it says "Pending Shipment." There also used to be numbers under backordered but now there are none. Should I be worried? I ordered at 3:45 AM central time.
