AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

That's the thing that's weird... The order is from 2009, and I know for a fact I never ordered a 32gb iphone.
I forgot to mention my order was through the AT&T premier site. I can't get too much info from the link they sent me, but if I go to the site where I pay the bill and then choose My Orders I get the screen shot below.
Placed an order for the 4S 32Gig White at 4 am on the 7th and apparently they had a problem processing my debit called them today fixed the problem and te guy tells me I'll still receive it by 14 or worst case scenario on monday which is fine. Went online and saw a new order date of oct 12(the original is also under there) status is processing and backordered (1)

Am I now stuck having to wait over two weeks ? Or will they use my original order date I spoke to another rep and she told me the new one is what counts. So I'm getting conflicting information

Mine wasn't able to track on fedex site either, so I made a call to fedex and the guy told me that they have the package in the their facility and will be shipping it out on the 13 so we should see activity by tomorrow. Hopefully everyone get it on Friday.
3 orders on premier for business on 10/7, and no further info for all three (they all show as "pre-order"), all three also show as "pending shipment" and backordered qty as "0" though.
Same for me. 2 Phones through premier and still pending.
They better ship it overnight tomorrow!
did you go to http://www.att.com/accounts/ then log in like you're paying a wireless bill, then click on My Orders?
the website in their email to premier customers is almost worthless.
UPS tracking number breakdown
searching for the UPS tracking number format I found the following. Not sure how acurate it is, bu the 9th and 10th position is important for shipping method.
The first two characters must be "1Z".
The next 6 characters we fill with our UPS account number "XXXXXX".
The next 2 characters denote the service type:
"01" for Next Day Air shipments.
"02" for Second Day Air shipments.
"03" for Ground shipments.

Do you already have tracking numbers and know which carriers you have?? Yeah, they really need to fix that because now we have to wait for different carriers...i really dont trust UPS at all...and even more if they plan on leaving my phone without a signature!
Mine is self-explanatory. I ordered it around 4am from AT&T and I have no fear that it won't show up on Friday. I have to say that these threads provide me hours of entertainment. It's like this at every launch. Those of you horrified at the whining, never fear....just let it roll off your back.

Same thing here RC. 32black is shipped and in transit (currently in Alaska). 64black still shows prepared for shipment status with an arrival date of 10/14.
ATT order status server apparently got overloaded as i currently down.
Ordered at the ATT store at 8PM and I still show as in progress/backordered. Not hopeful of status changing, but if by tomorrow the status isn't updated to shipped, I'm going to the store to cancel and buy it in person from their stock (if they have any).

Charge should show back up after phone is shipped. Before it was a hold to verify funds holds drop off after so many days based on your banks policies.

Well it wasnt really that that I was concerned with... I guess maybe you having sharp objects is a bit concerning.
I ordered a 64GB Black. I should also note that the confirmation email I received did say "Your iPhone will ship in approximately 14-21 days". Keeping my fingers crossed for all those who ordered late!
ha ha ha, you better fear cause everyone who ordered at 4am eastern , there status is shipped, yours is processing, your gonna wait 14-21 days. hopefully they get it to you near the 14 day end of that estimate.
AT&T said when I called their automated service that my phone was at a warehouse waiting to be shipped, but nothing has been shipped yet. I ordered at 4am on 10/7 and it has been processing since Saturday. I am beginning to think I won't be getting it Friday.
I decided to go ahead and upgrade from my iPhone 4. Question. I ordered today, the 12th, and it said on AT&T's website 21-28 days and I would be charged the day it would ship. I was charged today and received an email that the order was sent to the warehouse for processing. Think this it will ship right away?
