I just called back and got another rep. According to her, its valid and scheduled to move tomorrow, aka start the process of getting to me, not be delivered. Was your rep clear about delivery on the 13th?

yes, she said it should be deivered tommorrow, and i said delivered to my house tommorrow? and she said "yes"
 
Ordered mine at 7:20 ET am. No tracking yet....Ordered thru Apple Store I did get the order acknowledgement however.

I ordered at around 8-9 pm EST on 7th...was told over the phone its wud take 14-21 days, then got the email stating the same. My order went from backordered to processing tmrw, and today morning its showing shipped. FedEx tracking no begins with 5, untrackable!
Ordered 2 16G whites over phone, premier member, got upgrade and shipping fee waived:apple:
 
WOW, gotta love AT&T and their many different tracking systems. The REALLY need to get this cleaned up.

SO I was checking the wrong system. I now have a tracking number as well when I used the Order Status page instead of the Order Details page when logged into my account.

But it's UPS....was kinda hoping for FedEx. I think this means I'll see it Friday afternoon instead of morning. :(

This may mean I'll be waiting in line w/ my buddy, then watching him unbox his and play with it....while mine is still in the hands of the UPS guy. :eek:

Margaret Moss: Once the order is ready for shipment you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking information.

you: It was ordered before 5:30 PM, early that morning, but My acceptance email is date 10/7/11 at 9:56 PM

Margaret Moss: I understand. If you do not receive a confirmation email for the shipment of the device in the next 24-48 hours, you may not receive the device for 21-28 days. I am very sorry.

Margaret Moss: If you placed your order before 5:30 PM ET on 10/7/11 you will receive the order by 10/14/11. If you placed the order after 5:30 PM ET it make take 21-28 business days to receive the phone. Due to the high volume of orders some orders could not be processed until 10/8/11.

you: Since I placed my order on the phone before 5:30 PM, is that considered the time I placed the order even though I didn't receive my confirmation until 9:56 PM?

Margaret Moss: I am very sorry for an inconveniences.

Margaret Moss: I cannot verify when your order will be shipped. I know that we are working hard at processing all the orders from 10/7/11 and preparing them for shipment.

I ordered my phone at 1:14 am on the 7th and mine shows shipped the 12th. Not sure how some people's phones that were purchased later has an earlier shipping day? Also being delivered by UPS tracking doesn't register on UPS website yet.

The tracking info will not be "trackable" until they run their "end of day" or whatever they call it. We ship UPS all day long and send tracking #'s out as orders are shipped. But until I finish the day and run my drivers "end of day" report, all the tracking will show up as "not available". So I almost certain, that once Fed-Ex picks up at the warehouse today (most likely late this afternoon), tracking #'s will go live.

I'd rather have UPS. Fedex has broken all my stuff 8/10 times. (You can simplify that to 4/5)... so yeah, I'd rather have Fedex far away from a glass phone.
 
Anyone with 32Gig White ordered in store ship yet? Im guessing that might be the case? Maybe they're shipping stuff in batches?
 
My order was placed in-store by my AT&T small business account representative. She placed it at 8:00am CST on the 7th. I'm still backordered with no signs of movement. I would have ordered through Premier's website, but for whatever reason, I can't even see the iPhone as an available device on the Premier store. Looks like I'll be waiting a few weeks to get this phone.

guys, this is the 3rd post i've seen that have order that passed that non-sense 4pm-5pm cut off thing, and have received shipping info, keep the hopes alive and we will get it.

I was

I was pending shipment with backordered status, and as of this morning it is pending shipment with no backorder status.

I can rest easy now. Just updated about 20 minutes ago. I checked before my last class at around 10:15 Eastern, and just checked again at 11:15 and its updated!​
 
My white 32GB 4S ordered through att.com has a UPS tracking number now. Squee! :D

Same here - White 32GB 4S ordered through att.com at about 5 AM EST on the 7th. Just received a UPS tracking number but it isn't live yet.
