I can't stand this anymore! I was going to wait until next week to order but I think I'll do it Friday. I for sure won't get launch day but I think it's a great upgrade and I switched to Next last year just so I could at 12 months.

The boards will probably cool down this week though. AT&T won't get phones for delivery until later this week or early next so I don't think there will be any movement on shipping news on any of the order info sites.

Anyone think that att won't deliver any pluses by 25th based on supply constraint? Not sure when/if att updates their delivery dates.

True but the stock will, most likely, be limited.

If the past is any indication in store stock will be very limited and you will meet a line of people wanting what you want.

I do the pre order because I can't stand waiting in lines. Especially if what I want is not guaranteed.

Last year I went to the att store to swap phone lines with my new iPhone 6 and they were sold out of the iPhone 6+ early according to the rep.

Late to this thread; 64gb space gray 6s, ordered 9/12 3:01am. Preparing to ship, dates September 24, 2015 - September 24, 2015. Hopefully has no problems

I think this year I'm even going to avoid home delivery and see if I can have it delivered to my nearest Apple Store. Not reserved, mind you, but actually delivered and waiting.

If the post on the front page is correct, 4 million of whatever-the-hell part that's causing the problem will be made at the new company this month. Release date is still a week and half away so If they ship out to apple quick enough as they are made and apple hops on the good foot then we might get them on time.

I think they might meet the 25th launch. Like you said, they have that extra week. And mine delivered on the 25th last year and I ordered very early on pre-order night. Maybe that's part of the plan by Apple. They can make a lot of phones between now and next week to go with the units that were probably completed last week.

My order went thru at 315am ET on sept 12, I have preparing to ship as my status , but didn't get an order process text. My shipping estimate is Oct 16-23 :/

anyone else in my boat

I haven't received a processed text. I got an order received one when my order went through. My (6S rose gold 64gb) order says preparing for shipment with a 9/24 shipping date though.

I just called att to ask about my delayed order of a space grey 6s+ that i ordered before 12am pacific time. Im sure i was one of the first to order and my SHIPPING date is showing to be October 16, 2015 - October 23, 2015.

They apologized and said that the 6s is available to be delivered on the 25 but not the 6s+.

So, I asked them to waive my upgrade fee and they did it to make me happy. Seems like a easy - no hassle way to negotiate that upgrade fee if you call and complain about the delayed ship date and then make them waive the upgrade fee to make up for it.

I didn't get my upgrade fee waived but when asked for some form of compensation the rep offered a credit to my account. I took it ;)

I wouldn't go so far as to say no 6s Plus won't be delivered on launch date. However, I believe that those that do will be in the minority. I think most will not see their iPhone 6s Plus until October and possibly even later if that date is pushed back.

Right now my mind set is . . . when I get it, I'll get it.

I got a new text today:

AT&T Free Msg:
Upgrading ###-###-#### on a 2-year wireless agreement increases the Mobile Share Value smartphone access charge for this line to $40/mo. Other charges may apply. To learn how to keep your Mobile Share Value discount or for more details, visit att.com/planchange

WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?! LOL--they will find a way to #$&* us!

If it matters, the line in question was eligible for an upgrade as its previous 2-year contract was at or near expiration.

This is my first time pre-ordering through ATT. I've in the past used Apple, I've done the line thing a few times, and lucked out on walk-in late the day after launch and picked up the 6 I wanted.
Anyhow..... Here's my question: I ordered a 128gb RG 6sPlus and received an estimated ship of 10/16-23. In checking my order status on ATT Website, it says "preparing to ship". If I use the link provided elsewhere in this thread I see "in process". Which would you believe, and does "preparing to ship" mean my shipment is getting close, or might it remain in that status until close to Oct 16?

I'm pretty sure they started that last year with 6 upgrades.

According to a rep I talked to on the chat this afternoon they mean the same thing.

Starting the access charge being $40. It was less for me last year and then when I ordered the 6, it was bumped up to $40. I'm sure that's happening now with people going from a 5/5s to a 6s

Oh, OK. Yes, that line is going from an iPhone 5.
But my other line went from a 5 to a 6-Plus last year and my monthly charges did not go up at all. Hmmm.

Whatever--like I said, if they can find a way to $*%& us they will.

Hey everyone! I have a couple of sort-of-related questions: How does AT&T determine their upgrade eligibility dates? I'm on a two-year contract & bought the 6+ on September 20th, 2014. Will I be able to preorder the 7 at the fully subsidized price next year (if they're still doing two-year contracts) if preorders start before September 20th?

I think you can. Why not just go thru the motions on the site and see what pricing it gives you?
