All I can say it . . . yep
I think we hear about those after they've already been solved and Apple will throw as many engineers at the problem onsite as needed to resolve it. I mean, you think Tim Cook wants to get a call today about an issue with production that should have been dealt with weeks ago? Can you just imagine that calm rage lol

I think you can. Why not just go thru the motions on the site and see what pricing it gives you?
Good idea! I pretended like I was upgrading & it said "this line may be eligible for a greater discount on 4/21/2016". Right now, it's giving me the option of a partial discount, so I'm guessing I will be good by next September..?

I'm a little concerned about launch delivery on my + with all this constraint news. I'm fearing Apple kept most of the + for their own stock. I would have preferred to order from Apple but thanks to ATT I had no choice like many others. The thing that bothers me is not so much that it might not arrive launch day but that it throws off my upgrade eligibility cycle if I don't get it till October, it will run behind the normal September phone launches.

Doesn't your contract go by when you upgraded not when it shipped.

Wow there's some of you that have your orders preparing for shipment already?

my order has said that since yesterday at least. it also says it is in progress. just depends on which method of checking the order status i use. I was told it may not update until it ships around the 24th. I am not sure on the exact process, its my first preorder (eek!), but it is such a long wait for something to happen!

I think I read this before. But, if I preorder on my Next program and then go into store on the 25th and they have my iPhone, they can cx my preorder and I leave with the in-stock iPhone?

I just think it's a little suspect that every carrier has 6s plus with 9/25 deliveries but Att. Based on my conversations with managers there and the previous fact, I would think there will be a change in delivery date.

When I preordered my 6+ online att I went to the att store to try to get one on launch day and they had them in stock but said I couldn't get one there because I had preordered online.

Yea why is att getting shafted.

I don't think they're getting shafted. I think they're just hedging their bets from the last pre order.

I am frustrated because I paid my last installment early and now, with the stupid October ship date, I will have to pay another payment on two lines for no damn reason. That is why I am so flamed. Well, that and my current phone is a piece of trash that almost never works properly...

I suppose you didn't think about canceling your online order?

No they told me if I canceled my order online I would take some time to reactivate my upgrade status. And I wouldn't be able to walk out that day with one they had unless I opened another line. They may have just told me that because a lot of people would try to the the same. Im not sure.

Last year I cancelled mine the saturday after launch day friday, it took all of 2 minutes for my status to update. Made a appointment at the apple to store to pick one up and did just that. Very important to make a appointment. There was a line that looked like a 2hr wait that I bypassed.

Maybe because you went to the apple store. I tried at the att store because i have the granfathered data plan. I wanted to keep that. I don't remember all the details but I know they didn't try to make it easy for me.

Wer

were the pluses the only ones with problems. Last year?
It was a mix but mostly 6+. I'm going to say this again, some of you folks who ordered the 6+s Pink Gold WILL get them on launch but it's so random. It's not based on who was first. I ordered my 6 plus at 255 am last year and got shafted. But folks who ordered at 4am got 6+ phones on launch day
