There was so much bad info and advice given over the course of the madness, I guess that is to be expected. I was told several times there was no way I'd get a launch phone because my window was Nov 2-10 and I ordered well after midnight (9 am PST).
Was also told "AT&T ONLY ships Fed-EX" even though my daughters 8plus came UPS. My X is also coming UPS from Memphis TN.
For the record, when my daughter's phone was delivered UPS, they did NOT require a signature.

ok both my 256gb iPhone x silvers have shipped!
the first notification came in at 1am PST UPS, the second one 2:39am PST FedEx. Weird thing is I ordered these 4 minutes apart.
Those via UPS does your weigh at 1.5 lbs?

Mine is UPS coming in at 1.6 lbs. I am returning a Samsung s8 after getting the X as an upgrade trade in. Maybe that's why the extra .1 lbs?
hmm possibly ... the fedex one at 2lbs must be because with that phone, I need to return my iPhone 7 Plus ...

No email from AT&T yet. Had 11/2-11/10 window. When I click on my ‘good to go’ email, still shows ‘preparing to ship’. Checked my FedEx Delivery Manager and see a shipment coming from Ft. Worth, TX. to be delivered tomorrow by 8 pm!!!!!!!

Perhaps they did screw up. To be honest I was surprised to see him just plop it down on my porch (I have a camera) without ringing the doorbell. Glad I was there to grab it right away.
I can't imagine how much volume they have right now at FedEx and UPS ...
Well I used to have a UPS driver for an apartment complex that wouldn’t even try door to door delivery. He would leave the packages at the rental office for Camden Properties, and tell them nobody was home even though I was home waiting for a delivery. No knock and he didn’t even drive the truck to my side of the street(the office was 500 feet away across the street).
Now I’ve read Camden properties won’t even accept packages at their office anymore. I wonder how much this inconveniences people using online shopping nowadays. My condo has a valet parking office that accepts packages and is open 24 hours so I can pick up anytime.

I’m shipped too. 256 silver. Ordered at 4:30am est on the 27th. Ups as others may have stated...
In my experience they usually don’t hold until after first delivery attemptFor some reason I can’t have the package held.
It’s possible.
Had my 7Plus held at local UPS hub last year because I was flying in the evening and didn’t want a late delivery squeezing my travel window.
