I was wondering the same thing, i don’t see signature required anywhere in the package details.
Well this is the craziest thing I have ever seen. I placed two orders on my account. Within 2 minutes of each other. One is shipping ups, the other is shipping fedex.
Got the tracking number and shipment info email but when I check order status it still says in progress... ATT order tracking is messed up lol
The tracking number wasn’t associated with you, until the shipping info was sent this morning. That’s why you weren’t notified until today. Normal packages have the address info as soon as they are generated.
FedEx was not helpful. Due to AT&T’s strict delivery instructions, nothing could be changed. I’m chatting with an AT&T rep online now and it’s not looking good. I may have to take the day off from work so I don’t risk the phone being returned to AT&T for non delivery. Ugh!
My 3:15:59 AM Premier Silver 256 has shipped for delivery tomorrow. Tracking email received. Online status still shows “in progress”, with a cancel button. Maybe that second item listed is not a trade in shipping label, but some Xanax for us forum members!
When you order from Apple there’s a pre-authorized letter you can sign and leave at the door. Is there one for att? Doesn’t say signature required on my tracking.
SG 64gb, ordered in my local AT&T store around 9:15am EST on 10/27. It's being shipped to the store for pick-up. Currently shows "In progress" with 11/2-11/10 ship date. Still slightly hopeful itll be delivered by tomorrow! No update from FedEx yet and I cant use the delivery tracker since it's being shipped to a commercial address.
Mine shipped last night, but it shipped out ups with overnight delivery. Very happy with that since fed ex always seems to run a day late delivering in my area. No signature required either. I had an 8+ delivered on Tuesday and they just left it on my porch with no signature.
Has anybody used the UPS option to cabbage delivery to a local UPS store?
I am wondering if it really works so that I can pick the phone up in the morning tomorrow? Or do they take it to the store sometime during the day or in the evening after the route? I don’t want to change to pick up at the store unless it lets me get it earlier. I will be home all day anyway.

Naperville too! I got UPS, interesting. In the UPS app, I didn't see any note about signing; still need to find time today to see if they can hold it at a UPS store in case I'm not home from work on time.

My 256GB SC shipped (fedex pickup) yesterday at 5:01pm CST... out for delivery tomorrow... Since its coming from the ATT warehouse in Fort Worth and I live right down the road from them, I will either be the 1st or last stop...
Actually looking at the Fedex stuff Fedex picked up the package on 10/29 @ 5:01PM. Looks like no sig is required but I will still be working from home tomorrow staring at the front door

Being half asleep/trying to get pre-order in as fast as I could, I didn’t catch I had mine shipped to my parents house instead of mine. I talked to att the morning after pre orders to try and change it and they told me I couldn’t.
If I have to stay home from work to sign, does anyone know if these deliveries are done in the morning? Or is this like waiting for the cable guy, an all day thing not knowing when they’ll show up?
